  • I recently got back from a trip to Volgograd. I visited the Motherland Calls statue in the pictures here, and heard this music played in the underground memorial chamber. Does anyone know the name of this beautiful music? Where can I find just the music? (no talking)

  • wish the russians all the best for the future.......just after the second world war and many years after, society could flourish again. and in fact when you love the truth....both world systems had an unevenly starting point. the us of a where not a single bomb was dropped, and russia where the most important infrastructure was ruined. an uneven start, though most people looked at the competition, and who would win. not very sportive ofcourse....

  • And Stalin killed more people than died in the Great Petriotic War, but nobody seems to care. Fucking Russians.

  • @EnLugal GTFO Russians are badass don't be a pussy.

  • 3:07 сталинские лагеря - camps made of steel?? хД

  • Beautiful statue! :)

Thank you for uploading this video. :)

  • Soviet Russia Reviving From Her Ashes!

  • Shit i am broke in tears i am only 23 GOD BLESS USSR

  • Слава Русији и њеној слободи!

  • what direction is the statues facing?

  • @xGH3x the face is looking inside the country (russia) and the swords direction is to the west (the enemy)

  • "After the collapse of the Soviet Union for help with debt was redesigned to Russia (Yeltsin, Kozyrev), as at year 2003 Russia has about 100 million U.S. dollars."

    -quote

  • Agreement with the USSR on the order of debt repayment of Lend-Lease Act was signed only in 1972. Under this agreement, the USSR undertook until 2001 to pay $ 722 million, including interest. In June 1990, in the course of negotiations the presidents of U.S. and Soviet parties back to the discussion of debt.

  • @Russgrad, Stalin & Zhukov both stated the massive amount of equipment, machine tools, raw materials etc. were vital to the USSR. 40-60% of explosives used in USSR arty. etc. rounds came from the USA. ~420-440,000 all-wheel drive trucks & jeeps allowed USSR industry to switch most truck production to tank & arty. production. Stalin asked the USA & Britian for aid, we asked for not help, & if the USSR wasn't in the war WWII may have lasted 10-years but Nazis would have been nuked

  • The American Lend-Lease

    RUSSIAN pay in gold !!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

We buy from the Americans HELP

IN 1944 the German Army had 250 divisions to the eastern front !!!!!!!!!!

the invasion of the Anglo-Americans in France, in Normandy, the Germans on the Western Front fought 20 divisions !!!!!!!!!!!!!!

250 = 20 who will win this WAR?

  • @Russgrad, You're wrong. USSR paid for part of Lend Lease & the rest of the debt was forgiven in the 1990s. Aid that USSR sent to Spain during the Spanish Civil war was paid for in Spanish gold, & Russia states that Spain still owes it ~$50,000,000. Total number of divisions & divisional equivalents in France 1944 was ~65+, & in Italy there were at peak strength ~500,000 German & some Italian facisit troops. Learn some history. Stalin & Zhukov both stated that the huge LL aid was vital to USSR.

  • @christof139

The debt was forgiven? :) who do not know "some history"

for your information in the Arctic convoys, after the arrival of the ship with a cargo of Lend-Lease (military technics)

sailed back,"U.S. and British convoys" were sent fully loaded, gold, wood, medicines

    and never left empty

Anglo-Saxons do not do anything for free, for all convoys, paid for Russian people

    here is your assistance conditional

Americans have been industry, and we bought it

    for real money, real output

  • @Russgrad, Yes, the debt was was 'forgiven' (business term) in the 1990's or early 2000's (Google it). It was decided the USSR still owed ~$700+ mi. & Gorbachev gave ~$35-mil. Then later the debt was forgiven by Bush 1 or Bush 2 & maybe Putin. Original pre-Lend Lease aid was paid for in gold by USSR. USSR also sold material to the Spanish Republic during the Spanish Civil War & has a claim against Spain for ~$50-mil. or so. Interest rate was ~2.5% on Lend Lease but material could be given back

  • @christof139

I misunderstood what you wrote to me in English

if you say that the American army won a war of Hitler? and won all nations axis?

and the USSR was merely an appendage of supplying people?

You say that America defeat Japan? and you were the best planes? Russian people who fought on lend-lease (American Technics) could not won war, do you it want to say?

  • @Russgrad, No, I said none of that, but that is what you may think. I said the opposite of that! Then gave scenario of what would have happened if Hitler had not invaded USSR & all the other allies had to deal with the European Axis. We were never taught the USA won the war alone. I served with some WWII veterans in the US Army & we were never taught that nonsense either in the military or in civilian schools. I have also known Poles, Germans, Russians etc. that were on the Russian Front.

  • @Russgrad, Both Britain & USA had operational jets that were better than Me-262 & were just starting to be used. Thousands would have been produced. pacific War was virtually at an end whether we invade Japan or not. Jap. nacy & airforces were obliterated. We could sea lift 1/2 of all Allied forces in the Pacific to Europe & Africa, & bring along a few hundred thousand Chinese for initial forces, + Brazil, Mexico, & other Latin American nations already had volunteers & many more Divs. to follow

  • @Russgrad, We didn't have to send anything to USSR, & if Nazis had not attacked the end would still have come to them in a few more years.

1st A-bomb, Nuremberg, Ground Zero = Nazi Party Stadium. Offer Germany surrender terms, maybe Wehrmacht overthrows Hitler. If not, 2nd A-bomb, Berlin, Ground Zero = the Reichstag. Result, maybe Hitler dies, then peace with less casualties.

BTW, I have great respect , admiration, empathy & sorrow for people of USSR that fought & died for our freedom.

  • @Russgrad, Yes, the nazis were monsters, & so were the Japanese in China and the Phillipines etc. We had our smaller massacares that we committed but they weren't planned genocides.Even our wars with the Indians/Native Americans were quite bad, but it wasn't planned genocide, but genocide occurred, & they also killed a lot of us. Too bad we couldn't have developed the A-bomb in 1942 & dropped a few (10) on Hitler.

  • вечная память!...............

  • Thank you very much. Maya

  • Слава героем!!!
