On Tim's website he lists chiropodist under MEDICAL COIN-OPERATED MACHINES and says it did indeed used to be at Cabaret mechanical theatre in Covent Garden. well remembered!
Thanks for showing us about these slot machines, Tim! You've really showed us slot machines are a waste of money! Look at the crane controls at 2:56. They set the "Grab Strength" control to "3", where the minimum is 0 and the max strength is 9. So, not only was the crane arms weakened until Tim readjusted them, but was only grabbing at a 1/3 gripping power!
Even the "Prize Payout" was set at "3" also, between a scale of 0 for random, 1 for minimum, and 9 for maximum!
And look at the coin pushers! Not only the arcades make money by you using the machines, but they added themselves a side slot to secretly shove EXTRA coins off to the side and into their own pocket!
The computer controlled slot machines keep the odds at EXACTLY set parameters for equal opportunity at winning and reduces the chances of cheating, but at least the machine pays out some to the arcade and pays out some to its customers, so it's equally benefitial to both.
I stand corrected. Watch "How to Win Playing Slot Machines" on youtube. Computer slot machines are programmed to pay out at INTERVALS, not but CHANCES! People who win at slots won a few hundred dollars because several people at the slots LOST THOUSANDS!
His slot machines are at Southwold Pier. He's also got an excellent section at the science museum in london with lots of nostalgic home appliances and how they work etc.
HI. I've been wanting to email tim hunkin but can't get passed the 'email me' bit on his official website. Do you happen to know how I can get hold of him? Any help would be appreciated. thanks

I wish people would understand that slot machines are not true random number generators. The casino can set the machines to generate only low payouts such as mixed bars, single bars and double bars. The next day, the program may change and jackpots will show up.
