There is a huge difference in taste when things are sliced in different ways.
I've known this for a long time, but have never tried such a simple idea which tasted SO good.
Yum, YUM.
(if this talk had not been "so long" and if things had not been repeated, etc., I may never have tried it.......if YOU haven't tasted this, don't knock it!)
Natasha from RawRadiantHealth reminds me so much of Rebecca Watson (YouTube user "rkwatson"). It's creepy actually. They speak similarly and everything.
People complaining that Natasha talks to much, remember she has gone out of her way to pass on some great information, It hasnt cost you a cent!! Keep up the good work Natasha ;)
OMG this is actually SOOO good haha I just made it and I loved it so much that I made it again! Haha my food processor is on hiatus so I used a cheese grater and it worked fantastic. LOVED. Will totally make again, especially to impress my non vegan friends=)
i eat low calorie i.e. 90-95% water content foods. that means raw veggie greens & fruit. except for avocado nuts coconut durian etc. my heaviest food is bananas, which doesn't have fat but not much water in there. but i noticed any food with fat gives me total constipation and lethargy for 2-3 days especially if i have god forbid nuts...dun dun dun colon clogged gg
I've been doing something similar to this :-) I just chop up an apple and sprinkel some cinnamon on top and toss in some nuts maybe. just stir it up and i'm good to go. apple and cinnamon is an AMAZING combo :-)
u should make also a video about thsi recipe dessert.Take an apple make a hole from up to down in the center and then add inside the apple raisins and cinamon and then u bake it for a little time or u can eat it raw... by the way nice vid... :)
If you have a juicer with a blank you can make raw applesauce. I would think the texture would be even better than shredded apples. I did this by accident when I juiced mealy apples. Divine and very creamy like cooked apple sauce. Use the blank in your juicer (you cannot have juicers with baskets, obviously).
That apple-cinnamon desert looks yummy, Natasha :) I love apples...especially Fuji apples. It's really funny when you really start to realize all that's possible with raw foods.
Thanks so much for all your videos! I have noticed that the more raw foods I eat, the less desire I have for processed sugar foods. Raw foods taste so much better to me :)
But I just wanted to thank you again and let you know that I looooove your video's and look forward to watching a new one everyday. Thank you, thank you, thank you!!!
Great video...thank you sooooooo much for all of your time, effort, motivation and inspiration!! I plan to join you for the next fast/feast. It will be my first and I am really looking forward to doing it By the way, I have only been on the raw food diet for 2 weeks and with your help and Dan McDonald's help I am motivated to continue. I am feeling great and I've lost 12 lbs!! I am finally at my pre-pregnacy weight (17 yrs ago...LOL).
I loved this talk, and also the dessert.

great idea, what makes apples appetizing for me to eat is to add a few tsp of rose water. flax seeds make it taste good too

It is however still considered Raw if you want to cook it at a temperature no higher than 115 degrees F. :)
