Vá estudar um pouco sobre a banda antes de falar besteira. If anyone doubts the influence of those who came after slash, really needs to digest the awesome content in Chinese Democracy. "Street of Dreams" or " the Blues" has a finck solo that when I first heard it, made me think my ears had died and gone to fucking rock heaven. And I dont even believe in heaven. Coincidence? I think not.

I think that the place that Paul were fiting in the band prevented him to show he really could do, it was a really 'supporting actor', just that. I don't know wether he is good or not, but I'm almost sure we'll never know.

To be fair their both REALLY fantastic musicians

No one is ever gonna replace Slash, because he WAS Guns N' Roses.

But credit to the guitarists Axl brought him (love him or hate him), Fortus, Buckethead, Finck, Bumblefoot... and whoever else played on the album (Wylde etc. on I.R.S)

They won't ever be as good for Guns as Slash was but they are pretty awesome guitar players, just listen to the work on Chinese Democracy without a bias point of view

Slash, Matt and Duff were the Guns of GNR. Without them, GNR won't be the same. I won't say the new guys are not capable of producing good music but its just not GNR without the old guys.

Robin Finck, Buckethead and Bumblefoot might be better guitarists than Slash, but they are not better performers, they don't have half the charisma Slash had, they don't have the GNR feel in their music !

Slash is actually not good. Seriously, he is sloppy as hell live, and isn't technically skilled, he is melodically skilled.

These players are MUCH better than Slash is. They have a wider range than him, and have more skill than him. Slash is completely overrated.

Slash has so much soul when he plays, it's not about playing fast. Being a skilled guitar player isn't about who can shred fastest, it's about making it sound as good as possible. Maybe these two are as good as Slash or better technically, but Slash brought a dynamic to Guns that they just don't have now. Not to say that thats a bad thing, I think they're pretty good still, just different. But you can't really compare these, they're just totally different sounds.
