This shows you how to download it to your computer. But you have to save it as a .swf file to view it with VLC media player like he does. You can't import it into MovieMaker afterwards for editing. You have to use something like Sony Vegas. Burp!!

"onjoFilms" once the flv is ripped you can download the program 'SUPER' its the best, it can convert ANYTHING

flv,swf, media to psp or ipod, and all your typical stuff like mpg to avi etc etc

its extremly powerful and is free and is at the top of the list of google when searching

BUT this technique shown is invalid now i think i've tried tons of times and I get 'page not found' like i'm being blocked, use to work fo rme now i'm screwed

I've since found a better way. You can contact me at my channel and I will email you the directions.

I'm also working on a windows program that will allow you to just enter the URL hit a button and download the FLV. Then you just convert the FLV file to whatever.

2. Change the /watch?v= to /v/ in the URL and hit return

3. Change the p.swf to get_video in the URL and hit return or

Change the swf/l.swf to get_video in the URL and hit return.

I just use "Zillatube" - download, play, and even convert them to windows video for easy viewing. Just google for zillatube to find it.

there is a small annoyance I am having when it comes to rip the videos this way or using another program when i download it it downloads as get_video and when i click on it a window pops up saying "windows cannot open this file" and I have to select Flash Video Player from a list of my other programs and when the flash video opens up its streams and never stops streaming and never plays I would so much appreciate help on the issue if it is at all possible

Make sure the videos you're saving actually have a file extension. I always have to add .flv to mine.

or if you have a converter, convert the unknown file to a WMV or something...

Why so complicated!! Instead of login in using internet explorer, use mozila firefox even easier. When the video is playing, just click the small button on the bottom left and it's automatically downloaded to you computer ... But daniel I have to admit u r stil a genius 2 work tht out.

Firstly, great video mate, and thanks for sharing.

Now, at 1.28 into the video, after changing the p.swf to get_video, you get a box popping up which I dont get...

First I get a security box asking if Im sure I want to save the file, then the next box gives me the choice of where to save the file, and gives me the

option of downloading the file as a document, or as "All Files".

Any ideas how to get round this?

I suppose you'd want to save it as "All files"... If you just wanted to watch it, you wouldn't have to download it ;)

Anyway, I suspect that the "promlem" is that I use Firefox where you might use Internet Explorer or something else.
