@famousgirl9x9 I don't have the scene before this, but I can briefly tell you what happened. Eric hires Sookie (and Bill came along) to find out who has been stealing money from Fangtasia. When Sookie gets close to finding that it is Longshadow (the vampire with long black hair), he threatens Sookie by strangling her neck. Bill quickly reacts and stakes Longshadow, thus spilling blood all over Sookie. Since Bill killed a vampire, Eric must discuss punishment with him. Hope this helped!

It's interesting that Eric only offered up two options to Pam re Ginger: 1) glamour and 2) turn her. For being such an "evil" vampire (as many people seem to want to believe), killing her never even factored in to the equation. It wasn't even an option. Nothing is what it seems to be on TB - Eric really isn't evil or bad. I'm glad many people are starting to see that now.
