You know whats even more annoying? When the comment page is not only filled with ranting on the grunge era, nirvana, ect. but its also filled with ppl ranting on the rants. "Why can't you faggots shut up and listen to the music", yeah that'll work... The grunge scene is a fun subject to talk about and everyone misses it so its alright to put your ideas out there but those who really appreciates it would agree that all grunge bands contributed equally, its just some were more noticed like nirvana

Mark Arm and his band Green River ( Before Mudhoney) were around before Nirvana and had a admittedly big musical influence on Kurt. Many of us musicians here in the Northwest had a similar look in the early 90's.
er, hang on a second. thses guys were around before nirvana, nirvana covered their songs and cobain used to play some of their gigs. also, unlike nirvana they're still playing, recording and (more importantly) still alive.
