I suppose that this was some kind of a cultural miscegenation that capcom was trying to implant ( a japanese, an american and a brazilian fighters - or, more politicaly incorrect: asian/white/black people with the same base technique and kimono fighting together). Too bad that Sean didn't get popular enough to appear in the other games.

Oh yeah, the "Winner" theme from NG was the best one. That's one of the main reasons I don't really care for TS. They completely removed it from that version. Because of this, it doesn't feel like Street Fighter III to me.

But worst of all? All of the endings in TS (and some in NG and DI), totally SUCK.

Yep. NG and DI are the best versions of Street Fighter III imo. They shouldn't have nerfed Sean the way they did. Why even have a character in the game if they're nearly useless?

That said, Sean is probably the strongest character in NG and people debate if he is in DI also. Also, the only songs I like in TS are Akuma's theme, Ken's theme and Ibuki's theme. The entire soundtrack for DI was incredible. They should've left to beats and Sean alone.

Man I miss the days when Sean was funny, but not a joke character. He was originally planned to be the only "pajama" character in SF3, but fan whining brought Ryu and Ken back. He was more original and interesting than either, and had a lot of spirit!

It's one of the few times I wish a game developer didn't listen to fan input.

Just looking at the New Generation and missing the old days of spending 30 dollars a weekend at my local arcade when I was younger just to play as Sean.....makes me want to go on Ebay and pick up a copy for my Dreamcast now that I'm an adult and I can get it. I've got a Dreamcast port so I can use my Fight stick specifically made for third strike and MVC2......so it's all good. Man when it comes down to Street Fighter, I'll do what it takes to stroll down memory lane one more time.
