The product is great, how can you go wrong on the latest technology., equipment, and deployment. If you think fiber optic is bad for technology then go back to the old antenna service on top of your house or dish, because either cable or fios is fiber optic. Cable uses fiber to the neighborhood, then converts it to coax (copper) shared to the homes. Fios uses fiber from central office all the way to the home.
We are not lazy, we get our work orders every morning and they get completed. Techs not showing up before 12pm get suspended I haven't heard a suspension regarding that. Find out with executives why many work orders are left in limbo??? my best guess is short on personnel do to layoffs. After my dad died and we told the idiot rep at the Verizon store, AND handed him a copy of his death certificate, HE STILL signed my mother up for FiOS in my FATHER'S NAME! To fix the problem, WE had to call Verizon, lose service for a day or two while they reinstalled. They claimed it would all be done remotely. The day came and my mom wasn't home. She got a call on her cell phone saying a repairman was at the door, then CLEARLY Verizon stated they didn't need to send one!I could go on.

The Verizon FiOS Internet is awesome. THAT'S IT! If I'm late paying my bill, they NEVER give me a warning. I've NEVER HAD ANY success logging into their website to manage my account. It's broken. I've had my account screwed up by NUMEROUS Verizon rep dozens of times and a "supervisor" offered me a shitty credit which didn't make up for the difference. Glad you like it. They are coming Monday to install. We'll see if they screw the pooch then too. Verizon FIOS has cost me more than I was going to save switching since I lost a whole day of work when they did not show up and now a second day for next appt. Verizon FIOS = :(

Monday 335PM and Verizon FIOS is not here. Appointment scheduled for 8-12 today. Verizon never showed up. No calls. NO updates. Verizon FIOS sucks and should not be used.

@dannielpreto I have Qwest. They rock my socks. I had problems with my internet and had 3 techs out there the very next day after I had to call them out. It was a long problem that had to be fixed. It all ended up being that one of their retarded techs accidentally put a staple through the line. Go figure. Thanks anyway though.. :)

@zinzxonx So they fixed a problem that they caused, I don't know if that's a good thing or bad. All companies are crappy though, corporate entities have no heart. They are profiteers and only care about making money. That's why I don't defend any brand, but it's cool if your happy with your service :)

@rubberduggy261 Actually i have Verizon for my cell provider but I wouldn't use anything other than Comcast for my home services. as far as att goes Ive tried it and they are terrible
