  • yeah your about a mile away mate...

Im sure everyone was having a great time considering it was raining..

    Nonse..

  • @Snoopbob2006 The Reggie fans at the front were enjoying themselves. However the majority of people were just walking by or laying down and having a nice nap.

  • I was there, and where I was standing the crowd most certainly were not bored. In fact, the majority of the crowd cheered and screamed for her.

I don't know what drug you've been taking, but may I suggest you leave off?

  • Yeah, take the time to read a few more messages in this thread than the top few and you'll find out you were stood with the few hundred Spektor fans near the front enjoying themselves. A hundred yards back though, and people were falling asleep due to the monotony of this auditory dullard, it's called diverse musical taste, no drugs needed, just a fucking good sense of humour to take the piss and watch you inevitably give a Pavlovian response.

  • @KubriksMonolith Very amused at how you are the only person with that point of view. Can't stop laughing at how everyone is against you as you try to defend your sad, lonely opinion shared by none. Sleep to whatever music you want, Regina rocks.

  • @1catherine2kt Think about it, what type of person will primarily be searching for Regina Spektor videos on Youtube? Yup, you guessed it... Regina Spektor fans. They're not exactly going to agree with me now are they. By the way, it's not a 'sad lonely opinion' the majority of people are not into Reggie, it's just that this video on YouTube I filmed, by the fact that it is a Regina Spektor titled video, attracts the minority. Regina doesn't rock by the way, she produces pleasantly melodic music.

  • This isn't just funny youtube. It's screams agenda!!! Did Regina steal your boyfriend?

  • Nah, she just stole the will to remain consciously awake from the people you see asleep in the video.

  • well, regina isn't exactly ozzy osbourne... if you were expecting regina spektor mosh pits--i am sorry but you will obviously be disappointed.

  • Yeah, you're right, I was expecting a full on Spektor mosh pit and Reggie diving from the stage and crowd surfing like a bitch. Alas, it was a bad gig for Reggie that day at Glasto as she got out of her tent late and couldn't be arsed to put on a dress. Even performing in her pants and bra did not gain the interest of the crowd who thought she was utterly dull. There were about 42 people at the front who liked her, but unfortunately they were later sectioned under the Mental Health Act.

  • it is too bad I missed the concert then. At the Regina concerts I have been to, it is sometimes hard to get everyone to shut up. Would have been great to see her in the context you have described, because it would make it easier to hear her, as well as easier to draw her attention (between songs).

  • I think Regina lost the crowd's attention after she did her cover version of the Spice Girls' song 'Wannabe'. That really seemed to fuck most people off. It may have worked at V Festival, but definitely not Glastonbury.

  • lol this is what the back of the crowd is like at all festivals, with any band. There was still a big crowd further up. It's all a matter of taste. Love Regina myself. :D

  • What a bunch of musical ignorants.

  • Shall do, dick face.

  • Oh you really need to write into NME's letters page. It's middle of the road, uptight intolerant people like you who make those pages so absolutely fucking hilarious when the NME takes the piss out of their lack of self awareness. I notice that you now 'don't give a flying fuck' to the extent of replying four times and posting the same message twice. You're amazing, and totally wasted desperately attempting to save face in a dialogue with me on YouTube. Please write in, you're a star.

  • Wow, you do know some very big words (I'm glad you enjoyed my "unintentionally hillarious duel thematic". I was really aiming for that.)

Also, kudos on finding the hidden meanings in my commment. Like the one where I don't actually think your video belittles a quality set, I just think that you "should'nt film parts of crowds at Festivals that don't appreciate Reggie Spektor"

But seriously, as I said before, I really DON'T "give a flying fuck", I just find your video rubbish.

    Toodlepip.

  • The key phrases in your comment being: 'I have no idea' and 'I don't give a flying fuck' to the extent that you are so unconcerned that you felt the need to post a second time. That's funny in itself. But what I really like is the unintentionally hillarious duel thematic of your complaint that people should'nt really film parts of crowds at Festivals that don't appreciate Reggie Spektor and her middle of the road tunes. I do apologize for not thinking identically to what you do... my bad.

  • u really need to get a life haha

  • How you got on to talking about pedophiles, Daily Mail readers, and whether I understand the word indifference, I have no idea. I don't give a flying fuck if you like Regina Spektor's music or not, but I just don't see the point of your video. It's appears to just be you, excercising your right to use a digital camera. It's not very interesting, and it's annoying for the people who actually enjoyed her set. You make a joke of somebody's performance when you make a throwaway video like this.

  • I see people looking and watching and generally engaged in the music. Nonetheless, you absolutely right Kubrisks, music is not objective and those who think it is some fixed variable in which everyone must agree can fuck off. One of the beautiful things about art is it's subjective appeal or (lack thereof) according to one's taste.

  • Listen, I can't help it if Regina Spektor puts some people to sleep with her music and I film it. Also, you are aware that I am indifferent towards Spektor's music. You do know what that word means don't you? i.e. I neither love nor hate it. So yeah, there were a small crowd at the front who loved Spekky's tune's, but many more at the back yawning and falling asleep. That's music, there's no objectivity in it, if some people are put to sleep by The Spektor, and some are not, that's how it works.

  • The fact that you were about two miles from the stage shows just how pointless this clip is. Sure, the crowd was no Blur, but if you had been up at the front, as myself and many others were, you would have seen what a brilliant performance it was. As it is, you weren't, and you didn't, so you have no right whatsoever to judge her abilities to maintain a crowds interest.

  • @BollardsUpAhead I wasn't two miles from the stage you twit, I was less than 70 yards. Of course you liked Regina Spektor, you're a Regina Spektor fan, what else could you say? However, breaking news, as the video shows, most people are not too impressed by her and tend to fall asleep.

  • @Kubricksmonolith You are real far back from the stage. You are behind the second line of speakers and the screen for those too far back to see the stage. I walked by the stage many times and ignored the music playing. It doesn't mean it was shit and they have no fans. Why is not liking something such a big deal for you? Film a band you like and write good things about it. Not one you don't. This video doesn't show anything except you have too much time on your hands and want to troll a bit! x

  • @GoblinJuiceII I wasn't far back enough if I was to be honest. I mean where i'm stood I could still hear the inane wailing of Spektor, it was fucking awful. I mean you can hear it on this YouTube video, it's like a warm up act at a folk club In Weston Super Mare. And hey, if I want to post a video of people falling asleep whilst enduring Spektor, who you are you to instruct me not to. What are you, the fucking music police? Oh and on the subject of trolling, how many posts have you written now?

  • @Kubricksmonolith I am the music police. I am just simply replying to your comments, that's all. And I happen to love the warm up acts at that folk club, sorry that she ain't Bieber but you can't have everything you want man!

  • @GoblinJuiceII Hey! Don't you start dissing the Bieber.

  • @Kubricksmonolith I wouldn't dare. Too many hard core fans of his out there... (heads off for a Bieber vid to cause chaos... realises that several hundred thousand people got there before him...)

  • I was there, early Friday afternoon at the Pyramid stage and Regina was fantastic! The video gives a strange impression but there were hundreds of us completely mesmerised by her superb performance - I was nearly moved to tears by the beauty and poignancy of "some of her songs. Forget the message of this silly video and get listening to her if you haven't already discovered her!

  • Thats beautiful I am gonna cry probably when I see her perform in person.

  • i had only heard 1 song by R. (fidelity) i bang in the middle over the half circle barriers near the front and it was so chill it was amazing!!

  • And with that comment the imaginatively named 'GoblinJuiceII' demonstrates that some, (not all) Regina Spektor fans are as humorless and dictatorially right-wing in their intolerance towards anyone who disagress with their musical taste as a field trip of Daily Mail readers on their way to a 'stone the paedo' party. Or in GoblinJuiceII's case: 'Thou shalt not disrespect the middle of the road fluffy lovliness of the Spektor's music'. Who the hell are you to instruct people what music to like.

  • It didn't really make an amusing youtube video... have you never been to Glastonbury before? There are people falling asleep everywhere to everyone, and that is taken from right near the back, at the front it was awsome, everyone was enjoying it... Why do you try and offend people? Its Glasto, it is meant to be about peace, love and unity, not being a dick!

  • @GoblinJuiceII You obviously haven;'t been to Glastonbury, or if you have, it was obviously a trip with the Institute for the blind. People are not falling asleep everywhere you numpty, just to this type of melodic, but unavoidably middle of the road music.

  • @Kubricksmonolith I had totally forgotten this video existed. I have been but only three times. Though got my ticket this year. People do fall asleep everywhere. I have seen this happen. I have done it. Just lie down and relax. When you have been up all night partying it is just sometimes too hard to resist. Then you just find some nice chilled out music and lie down. Glastonbury isn't about the hating, it is about respecting everyone's music taste (among other things.) Don't be a dick ;)

  • @GoblinJuiceII Oh God! What a sanctimonious pretentious jumped up little Toff you sound. Fucking hell! I nearly get a hard on reading your moralising clap trap. Glastonbury is anything you want it to be. And stop fucking lying about people falling asleep everywhere to legitimise your sycophantic love of 'Folky Spektor'. Glastonbury is anything you want it to be you jumped up little twat, and if I want to take the piss out of the shitty music you like then I'll do exactly that you dumberfuck!

  • @Kubricksmonolith Pure gold. You are loving this aren't you?

  • @GoblinJuiceII Yeah, best fun I've had on YouTube since telling a load of Elvis fans that he never sung in tune.

  • @Kubricksmonolith Trolling is fun. But remember kids it makes you no friends. Well it makes you some friends. But sadly they are usually dicks...

  • I am pretty much indifferent towards Regina Spektor as I was only walking through the Pyramid stage area at Glastonbury Festival as she was on stage and observed people falling asleep laid on the ground whilst she was on stage which I thought would make an amusing YouTube video to film.

  • grrrrrrrrrrrrrrr

  • If you find Regina Spektor boring then you are clearly a dullard.

  • What a bunch of losers
