I have a theory, I call it the theory of displaced technology. It basically means whenever you find megalithic type structures from the ancient world ei Pyramids, where we can't understand how they could have built the structures with the technology of the time, let alone lift the stones used in the construction, without the aid of technology that wouldn't have been discovered until thousands of years later, you get displaced technology. look, the nature of life itself is pretty good proof we're not alone in the universe. But you can't just make a few shallow claims based on findings from archaeologists and assume it fact. They're looking at mainly pre-european south america. Those people were MASTER astronomers and there is some speculation that they had a better understanding of time and space that we had today. If there's a way to do what they apparently did, those bastards could have figured it out.

In my opinion we don't give much credit to the ancients at all. They were smarter than we credit them to be, but this doesn't x out the possibility of ancient aliens. There's many things that don't make sense for the ancients to have or have seen. But we have to give the ancient people credit where it is due, because they did build by themselves. It's all been recreated. The only thing is the "cuts" that were in the stone is very interesting and unexplainable right now.

@auntypimpom agree. Plus everybody thinks that they're just going to come down in swarms and greet us with a hearty "hello". Why does everyone think this way? MOVIES. Think about it people, if WE discovered intelligent life somewhere and had the means to get there. Would we just swarm down and say "hello, nice planet you have here". "Oh we come in peace and um, can we visit here for vacations?"

@91gstein you're comment makes no sense. Our destruction would be laughable to there term of destruction. That would be like modern day army being afraid of medieval times armies (actually the army of thousands of years ahead of today compared to medieval army). It is ancient technology. Being ready for first contact? Doesn't them visiting thousands of years ago count as first contact lol? You cant forget how destructive/harmful ancient people were to.

@91gstein Life certainly is not just on Earth, but on planets light years away. There has been a reported planet called Gliese 581-g, or the "Goldilocks Planet" because it is "just right" for life to exist there, it's a perfect distance from the sun for liquid water to exist. It is 20 light years away from Earth. No information is known if there is any water and if the atmosphere is tolerable to humans, but there is hope that some day we might have other beings within our thoughts.

i know what I'm about to write is crazy or whatever but here's what i believe...aliens were the original earthlings, then a major catastrophe occurred and they were forced to leave the planet which wasn't hard cuz they had the technology for it, everything is destroyed and we rose from the ashes and as a young species we are clueless and still looking for answers...but that's just my theory

@91gstein well it could be that they probably did try to return and things changed more than they expected and think they wont be accepted by our society, specially when the government will attack anything they dont understand..but that's just me saying...i guess the only way to find out is by waiting..
