Four judges is one too many,Kara is useless and unlikable,Ellen Degenerate is an idiotic choice. They should sack Kara and hire Gladys Knight as 3rd judge and leave it at that. Knight is as positive and lovable as Paula,yet is capable of giving useful,constructive,non-gushy critiques to contestants. She is always classy and professional,and I've never seen her all hopped up on goofballs,as Paula sometimes is...

there were rumors that paula abdul was leaving american idol... and not coming abck in season 9... few weeks later i was watching the news and saw the article that sais "paula abdul not a judge on american idol" .... = [ i think 4 of them are great judges... i just hope that paula doesn't leave.... shes a great judge... This is my opinion:

If they've got to get rid of a judge, ditch Randy.

When was the last time he said something that wasn't one of his cliches? "For me for you" "sing the phone book" "you were hot tonight" "that was a bit pitchy" "yo dawg"

His act is feeling tired and old for me.

And I'm sick of the girls getting so much scrutiny when Paula actually is the support system for the idols and is getting more articulate, as is Kara.

Why does no one scrutinize Randy? We don't need him.

I used to think Kara was annoying...but after she dissed bikini girl on the finale, I was like "U go girl!". I finally saw her personality and it was awesome. I love both Paula and Kara, and now I can't imagine the show without them.

The producers are fools if they keep Kara for another season. The show doesn't work with 4 judges. They've had to go out of their way to accomodate for the fact there's one judge too many. Plus, Kara's just annoying.
