Very nice rendition of this sad song. As I have been told, the population of the island Mingulay was wiped out by disease. This is a rowing song from fishermen returning home after catching the Islands main food source.

Beautiful song, beautifully sung, made all the more poignant by the fact that the old home of crofters and fishermen is now uninhabited; the last folk leaving before WW1. This song takes us thru the mists of time........
