  • Aw...that church group is amazing! Thats an amazing thing that the do for others! I bet God is supper proud. :)

  • haha my circle is curling inwards like a little hat!

    Why is that? :T

  • damn it too fast

  • and there you have it. I aint got nothing, to freaking fast.

  • You make everything sooooooooo super easy!

  • i never been able to learn how to crochet anything i know how to knit really good but this i dont get it =/

  • THis is hard :(

  • Way too fast!

  • :( This doesn't show me how to crochet AT ALL. You don't explain ANYTHING. Disappointed.

  • Hey ! I love all your videos ALOT. Im still really confused about how to do this. Any tips ?? xx

  • what a great group and amazing cause! thumbs up for your grandma and the rest of the ladies!

  • Not what i was expecting... but i did like this video.

  • even if it's fast, it's only ffwded at the 'repeat the step' parts and it's definitely one of the clearest vids I've found of basic crochet.

  • Why did you fast forward through the parts that are the hardest to see and need the most explanation??

  • thanks for the video i have been crocheting a way that hurt my fingers.

  • how the fuck am I gonna learn this way???? this is too fast!! you don't even explain

  • u go too fast :(

  • Notice anything about Aunt Nett's library? :D

  • 1400, jesus...my high school has more people than that.

  • 0:49 scarred for life.

  • @AnaAdorableBabyPickl Yeah I didn't really know what was the point of that lol.

  • i love farms. recycling. nature forrest. arts and crafting i love it but family reunions are nice and all but this farm scenery for some reason sometimes reminded of super mario from mario games and builder square fix it commercials from the good old 1980's era. and flowers are o k ! ! ! ! !

  • family reunions make me appreciate the normal solitude i have.

  • Corrine I love your tshirt in this vid!! What brand/organisation made it?? I want one :D

  • lols. is this a variety show? its so real.

  • Threadbanger, this video needs to be re-named something like "How to Crochet Flowers", because it does not teach you how to crochet. I'd really appreciate a video that actually does teach, step by step, without speeding up the clips where you can't follow anything.

  • finally, i found a video that shows how to bring my yarn around....thanks!

  • REALLY!!??? TROY PA!!!??? I was born in Towanda PA THIS IS AWESOME!!!!!

  • i ended up with a big knot

  • @sierra0301 lol me too:D

  • lol this is so funny cuz i have an aunt net lol and she showed me how to crochet

  • hahai live in athens pa thats like 20minutes if that from troy.

  • Crocheting is my newst hobby...I love it..though I havn't had much time or the money for more yard...Im currently making a HUGE blanker for my bed for my husband and I and I am making another blanket for my son. I love it it keeps me occupied and its a challenge to make new things...thnx for posting this great episode guys! love the show!

  • very charming and sweet episode. I love you guys.

  • Thanks :)

For like the past 20 minutes I've been doing a single crochet. xD I need to mix it up a bit.

  • That is a very nice video. The crochet part was a little confusing.

  • omg! wow, i'm such a doof! lol

i just noticed that this episode dropped on my 14th birthday! hahah [i'm 16 now]

    :DD

  • Can you guys do a tutorial on how to do different crochet stitch patterns (like the honeycomb and bobble)?

  • the end of this episode made me teary-eyed (what the g-ma's said)

  • i think it was a very easy to follow. but i cam out with 6 petals instead of 5. not sure if i did something wrong or not but the over all jist was easy. so thanks for the video :)

  • A video showing how to make the recycled-materials sleeing bag? I'd love to see it happening here if i could. (SanFrancisco, California area.)

  • i have that shirt ! lol

  • it was hard to see =/

  • i didnt really learn anything about how to crochet from this, i'm looking for something more slower and more hands on. Just like you how to knit video, that's how i started knitting so in a sense you taught me how! But i'd like to expand my yarn goo roo and what not. Can you make a more indepth video to show how to crochet? Thank you! I'm a huge fan!

  • wayy too fast to follow..

  • k, wait. how do you do the four stitch crochet??

  • check out Michael Sellick's crochet and loom knitting videos on mikeyssmail! He's a lot of fun and easy to follow just like tjw1963.

  • Call me remedial, but this is too fast. Couldn't follow.

  • ok so you're remedial...lol i didnt get it either.

  • beginers should check out teresa's crochet videos...mucheasier to follow

  • this super speed is totally screwing up my project XD haha..D:

  • ikinda didn't get about the petals but for the inside part i kinda get it i think

  • Too fast ! But still i learned something..... and once i tryed it it wasn't that hard !!! Thanks Threadheads!!! i did one and it came out weird but i'm still learning so..... !!! xoxo from Costa Rica !!! =D

  • way too fast!!!!!!!!!

  • i live just south of Troy!

  • That is so cool! Both parts! Can you make another video focusing on the sleeping bags?

  • so super speed helps me how!

  • they told you everything you needed to know to do a simple project guys. Slip not, single stich, slip stich, 4 stitch.

I think it's a waste of an afagan! Nooo!

  • Aww this was supposed to be how to crochet not how to crochet a flower in total speed mode D:

  • I don't know why you think fast forwarding would be a good idea for a how-to video.

  • i love your crochet hat video. It is sooo refreshing. "You rockin, you rockn stitch ten, that's right!" She makes me smile everytime i watch it.

  • way too fast

  • too fast

  • Way too fast. It shows a little of the basics, but you need to move it slower so people can actually see and learn.

  • I like the basic idea of this but every time you do something complicated, it speeds up and it's impossible to see (as with the 4 stitch thing). Any way you can put up the un-edited version so that we can actually see what's going on?

  • i love what you guys are doing but i foudn this way to fast to learn from. : S

  • i know how to make SO many things and ive always wanted to learn how to crochet and i still cant....i think i could of learned from u guys if it went a little slower.....but u guys are so cool =]

  • home=pa

  • OMG!!! i love you guys!! i was soooo bugged out about never being able to get the hang of crocheting and i finally got it!!! yeee haw! thanks bunches!

  • Are they married?

  • The sleeping bag project is cool. I can see it becoming a huge nationwide effort. Why not?

  • What a small world, I was looking for videos on how to crochet, found you guys, your great btw. Anyways the first video I watch you guys are in my home town, I live in coryland, have known Shirley since I was a kid, she was our lunch lady and makes the best nobake cookies. I didnt know they had that sewing circle, thats awesome and I want it on that!!!

Great videos, and wow what a small world!!!!

  • This is the greatest story ever.

    Pretty much.

  • I wish you hadn't speeded up the video when she comes to do the 4 crochet stitch adn start making the petals - you can't see what's going on!

  • eww! is that a dead squirrel?

  • I loved Corinne's shirt that she wore when they were at the trash dump and found that afghan. Is there a video on how to make one or can you guys make one??? It looked like a t shirt cut up and sewn but im not sure how to sew it.. i would love to make one

  • This is so cool! I just knitted my first scarf for a Christmas gift. It's straight stiched all the way down but I think I'm hooked.

  • at my school we were crocheting scarves for soldiers and i CANT do it. DIY of die!

  • That sleeping bag group is awesome! May God bless them and their wonderful work!

  • haha the beginning.

    ITS A DIY COW!

  • I used to live right outside of Pittsburgh, I miss PA...they have better cheese than wisconsin.

  • LOL! That's so random!

  • Yet so true...

  • My grandparents live in Troy and we have also had family reunions there

  • wow, your aunt's project is great! I have a Quilting Group at school that I started. we make quilts and donate them to hospitals for newborns =)

  • Where I live we had the same impetus. However, this was ended due to an infant choking on some yarn, plus apparently there seems to be yarn allergy cropping up. Yarn allergy, believe it or not. What next.. I still think it's a great thing to do and you should be commended. And bless anyone trying to recycle and save our environment!

  • omg i got lost so fast!

  • I live in Pennsylvania!

  • that looks difficult..

  • that is wonderful how they make those bags for the homeless!! I love it i almost cried I would love to start something like that at my church!!!

  • OUCH! lol...

  • You guys are GREAT. You should have your own TV show on HGTV or DIY.

So professional. I love your country scenes and your instructional info.

  • If you do have a show, have it one HGTV! We dont have the DIY network on our TV.

    *cheesey grin*

  • Corinne, where do you get all your awesome shirts?

  • i used to live in harrisburg,Pa is so cool to find troy here

  • Yay! Thrifty PA stuff! Woo! Nobody does thrift/recycling better. I'm biased, being a Bethlehem gal, tho. ;-)

  • I just love the part with Rob trying to catch a Wireless signal xD ... O.o I love ties.. I want some ^^

  • aw i really liked the sleeping bag thing. i love those soaps from hotels lol

  • love what your doing here!

  • Would love to see some quick directions, (maybe in the newsletter?) for how to make the sleeping bags like the church group was making.

  • i just talked to my gma, she is working on getting the vhs made by the people who started the sleeping bag project, which explains exactly how to make one. as soon as i get it, i will post

    xoxo

    c

  • Sorry that description with the cow milking was old. Corinne's Aunt owns a dairy farm, but the cows were out to pasture the day we went.would have been rad.

  • Love it

  • Where's the milking the cow bit?

  • my question, too lol

  • Wow, I tried crochet once...it was HARD! I can only imagine what that must be like. And what a nice thing for that church to do...I wish there were more people who sewed at my church!

  • that was cute!

  • Aww sorry to hear about your mom Corinne. Great video as always!

  • Woot, now i wish i could crochet adn it was nice to see those people helping the homeless. i should try and getpeople together around her to do that
