I know what you mean. they both have their own distinct sound as well as having a clear love for the vintage and the unsual. Though I think Lady Gaga's vintage is a lot more recent, think retro, than Imogen Heap who has a lot of references to Victorian fashion with colour scheme and structure but with a dash of 20s.

Well, obviously the song is about her being in love. She's happy whenever the person she loves is around. When they aren't around, she's obviously less happy. In the video, she's the dancer in a music box. When you open the lid to a music box, the dancer springs up and dances. When you close the lid, the dancing stops. Opening/closing the lid is symbolic for the person she loves being around vs not being around. Just my interpretation, I'm sure there are others.
