its you take a picture, move the guy a tiny bit, take another pic, move the guy a bit again, take a picture and so on all over, after, you put all the pictures in order in a slideshow but very fast, so it looks like a movie. in this stop motion film theres 10 frames per second, or 10 pictures per second. he cheated a tiny bit at one part where he took a short video :p

the stop-motion sequences in this film were created with a stop-motion feature on my leica d-lux 3 camera, and then imported into imovie. on my new film that is going onto youtube next week, i've discovered a better way of doing it, importing still photos from apple iphoto into imovie and giving them each 2 or 3 frames on the video. watch this space.
