If Olivia hadn't found out about Peter here, I really think a relationship between them would have formed soon after this "date/drinks," but then it's also proof that Olivia loves Peter because only during moments of having high emotions does she see the "glimmer" and we know she wasn't scared or angry in this scene so we must conclude she was having high feelings of happiness or love towards seeing him. Poor Peter, he doesn't know his life is gonna turn upside down soon.

He said its not a date just drinks, but you could tell when they showed Olivia getting ready that she was thinking it was a date, the way she took her hair down, and smiled that cute little smile, she was definitely thinking it was a date, so she was a little scared when she came there so that's why she was able to see him shimmer, I wish they had showed the date it self when it came back, maybe they could do a flash back or something, probably not though,lol, I bet she was really scared then.

I agree, I think her mind was that focused on finding a building, she really didn't take enough notice of Peter to be able to see him shimmering, but when she turns up at the door, se forgets evrything and concentrates on him, so I think she has to be completely focused on the thing/person to see it shimmer :) Poor Peter, I hope he finds out soon. I would REALLY love it if olivia told peter that he's from the alternate universe, i actually think that's in olivia's nature to tell him the truth... but i can definitely see why the writers would want the exact opposite to happen. Peter finding out he is from the alternate universe would be a great season finale..

Finding out that you were kidnapped and taken from your family, brainwashed, and lied to by the Walter of the alternate dimension and that the world may come to an end because that Walter opened that doorway just to kidnap you--that's the kind of news to make someone suicidal I'd imagine or become rebel against our world.
@schokomoerder If Olivia doesn't tell Peter I can imagine when Peter finds out he'll feel betrayed by Olivia which will make their relationship worse. Who can he trust? What the hell will he do when he finds out?!
