@TheDillsterr Why would doing the same thing 2 games in a row be bad? He saw a bad wall in with depots that could be taken advantage of. The terran was attempting to take advantage of weird timings and forcing the zerg to overreact but he just got shut down. They aren't great but I would laugh at you if you actually thought this was fake.

I facepalmed as soon as I saw the terran player move out with his two-tank/marine army. They must have been trying to psych each other out because he absolutely should have expected that to happen. When I saw the tank on the high ground I thought, "maybe, just maybe he'll siege it and leave it there to blow the banelings to bits." But no...he decided that siege tanks make better melee units instead =(

when i saw this game was shorter than the first game by a mere 10 seconds i instantly knew the outcome. and i dont think these two players are necessarily playing bad. remember that they are teammates and play together A LOT. they are likely playing so risky to exploit the style of play they are expecting to see out of their opponent.

I prefer BroodWar. Its a MUCH better game. The units are well balanced and easily countered by other units.

I cant believe that EVERYONE immediately switched to this as soon as it was made!

I have played this once, but i hated it. BroodWar will ALWAYS beat this. Plus, Blizzard just stole some ideas from C&C anyway...An aircraft that can turn into a walker unit, big Tripods, unlimited units in a command group (Instead of WarCraft/StarCraft 12 units)...Even the Mothership was in C&C3 first!

btw the big tripod is from war of the worlds not a C&C copy. aircraft into walker, thats so generic that it shouldnt even be considered a copy, starcraft has alot more units so i would rather unlimited then have to control 12 units at a time.

Just about every masters-terran I play (me as zerg) looses exactly like this. They either bunker rush and I bling cheese, or I do a bling timing attack. I'd say 9/10 ten games in zvt end this way :). Atleast for me.

@robertha See, there is the catch--the tanks can't reach the furthermost barracks and certainly not the natural where the SCV's are. You are also assuming the tank shoots blings instead of slings, and that the blings are conveniently clumped for the tank to kill. IF they survive, the terran always ends up having to lift their natural and remaining rax to wall their main. You get full map control, have an expo, and terran is stuck on 1base. GG.

In response to all of the criticisms of T -- how often do you see two base slow baneling aggression? I've watched probably a thousand SC2 games and don't recall seeing it. Terran is moving out because he's not expecting it and why would he.

This strategy is a great way to punish a T who moves out before stim is done. There's nothing wrong with either of their strategies.
