  • Sup Chris!

  • @webtelles Hi!

  • Qué formatos de peliculas reproduce via usb??? (.avi, mp4, mkv, flv '...)??? What format file movies I can play to usb port??

  • will this connect to a macbook pro?

  • @Nal3s I dont see why it wouldnt. It connects to everything else.

  • @cjrizzle93 Have you looked at the bulb to see if any LED's have gone out? I know that LED are supposed to last almost forever but I have seen TONS of LEDs that stopped working, especially the ones that get really hot like LED used for room lighting. I'm guessing these LEDs get pretty hot too, so i'm wondering how much more reliable they are than a traditional bulb.

  • @from212 A normal bulb or lamp can last up to 2 to 3,000 hours, if i remember correctly. LEDs will last for 35,000(+). In short yes they are much more reliable and can be better quality as well. They do NOT generate that much heat either. If any of the leds on the wheel were burnt out, my picture would look like ass.

  • I got my optoma ml500 yesterday and all I can say is wow, wow, wow! it is the shit, best purchase I've made lately. It is a little miracle, tiny but puts out HUGE CLEAR images. LOVE it to say the least, if you're interested in a video response I'll make one, tell me. Works lovely, glad I went with a brighter one than you, works in my well lit living room :) Happy customer and would recommend to all looking for Home theatre/pc use.

  • I gotta pick one for my parents and really want them to get LED but their living room is like 2x brighter than yours so how u think it would fair(maybe not twice as bright, but noticeably brighter) if you catch my drift.

  • @joefro233 This particular one may not be the best choice in your case. There are a few out there that I have heard double the number of Lumens this one has. I havent been keeping up with the news ones lately but I know for a fact there are better ones now. They are more money but.... thats nothing new.

  • @cjrizzle93 Thanks, I had a hard time picking one, but finally chose the optoma ml500 which i read is quite nice and most owners compare to 2000 lumens even thought it is only 500 lumens. Will let you know how it turns out and maybe make a video response for others after I get the product.

BH photo and video has them online for $610, tax, shipping and handling included

  • WOW, THAT IS PRETTY COOL!

PROJECTORS ARE THE FUTURE OF TV!!

WHY ONLY HAVE A SCREEN, WHEN YOU CAN HAVE ALMOST THE WHOLE WALL!!!

  • @MrCswint25 I thought the same thing. :D

  • @DEEZY79999 Ive been watching mine everyday for over a year, its on at least 5 hours a day. It doesnt over heat, doesnt run real hot, and it has gotten a bit louder but its because of the way I have it mounted. Sorry to hear the VIewsonic didnt work out for you very well.

  • Do you think by using a screen would improve the picture or better without?

  • @nolj67 I really dont think it would make that big of a difference..... If you paint your wall a flat white, it will look better than on a gloss, but other than that.... it doesnt bother me.

  • @nolj67 yes it is way better wit a screen cause a normal white wall dont reflect the light from the LED projector not that good either none.with a normal projector screen with 1 Gain factor it is a big improvement.doesnt cost that much a 70" screen New cost on ebay around 50 bucks so it is worth the money but everbody need to decide for themself i would prefer to buy a screen for this projector

  • oh thats amazing, not too expensive because it looks great and i just got an apt! so i definitely will be getting that. and another q: what do you need to hook up with the projector and how do you do it?

  • @alaricpayne Well, all you really need is a HDMI or a RGB(component) and it already comes with the adapter. Its nice to have another audio source though. Thats about it.... I have tones of videos on my channel about the PJ if your interested.

  • just a question, where did you get that glass desk and how much does it cost?

  • @alaricpayne LOL! uhhh, office depot I think! They are not expensive at all.... expect to pay around $150, probably less. They are VERY strong too, in case you were wondering.

  • projector attached to shelf is a great idea! i mounted mine to ceiling .. what a hassle ..

  • @alexkreuz thanks!, yeh, I live in an apartment so i really had to other choice...

  • Hey man, thanks for your series on the LG HS201. I think that's the one I'm going for when I finally spring for a projector. Quality looks stellar. Only had a few questions (you may have answered these in comments or in the videos but my head's spinning after watching so many, haha)...

    1. Do regular DVDs (widescreen) look correct, as far as the aspect ratio goes? Like, no stretched image?

    2. Is Blu-ray a huge pic quality difference with a projector that is only 800x600?

    Thanks man!

  • @chriscauldermusic Regular DVDs look good. They are definitely watchable but you will notice that the clarity isnt 100%, no stretch either. Bluerays look great; movies better than in the theater.

  • @cjrizzle93 Awesome. How about most Xbox games? I love playing Skate2 and Skate3... not much of a war game kind of guy. I know you have a PS3... just wondering if you've had any experience with xbox.

I can't believe how bright your damn projector is especially in darkness... it's insane. The colors... whoa.

  • @chriscauldermusic glad you like it! unfortunately I have not experienced xbox on it. not to mention the games I have are old... so they dont look that great to begin with.

  • @cjrizzle93 Ah ok... thanks! It definitely seems like a good deal.... and also, all your measurements in the videos are basically fully horizontal right? So if it's 95" across, it's well over 100" diagonal even 10 feet back. That's insane. To me, 80" diagonal is HUGE (I just drew a pencil line diagonal on my wall to test even 80" diag... ridiculous.

  • @chriscauldermusic Yeh, all the measurements are horizontal. If the pictures wont fit on your wall, get a digital camera stand so you can move the PJ exactly where you want it.

  • OH yeah sweet setup dude

  • @RyanWatson LEMON!!!!! ty

  • Special guest star SolarFalre

  • where for art thou m-sterbation station?

  • @zumbiesruk LOL! Youtube wont let me put that up....

  • Hello, congratulations for your videos, are very useful, I wanted to ask what is the difference between the LG and the LG HS201 HS200. thanks

  • @julianlopez1944 Thank you for the kind words! The difference between the 201 and the 200 is the color.

  • @Tainted369 Yes sir.

  • whats the distance between the projector and the wall

  • @solidarmz 12 feet? ish.....

  • Great, u got nice mount now, I wanna have it too. Maybe you know my Videos, and i have just a piece of Metal.

  • @Hobbygamer27 I remember watching your videos. If you want a "mount" bring the PJ to a hardware store and find a screw that fits in the bottom. I needed a mount that I could aim, so I found a camera mount that would support its weight, then I found a screw that fit in the bottom of that... its not ideal but its worked for about 2 months now!

  • @cjrizzle93 Well I got a Metal Bracked and a fitting screw, but this is not as good looking as the mount you have.

  • @Hobbygamer27 oh.. well, just use your imagination i guess. that little shelf cost $12.... and everything else was stuff I already had.

  • what speakers do you need to hook up to the projector cuz i am goin to buy the projector but i dont no what speakers or how to set up everything im lost! 0.o

  • @Tomhill93 What i did was: hook up my cable box through RGB, ps3 (or xbox 360) through HDMI, and the audio from both of those goes to my old phillips receiver using RCAs.

So... you can god a receiver ( or surround sound setup), a soundbar, or anything that has multiple audio inputs with speakers :D I would suggest getting creative but you can always go with a basic inexpensive "home theater" surround sound setup. They are very cheap without built in DVD or BlueRay players.

  • @cjrizzle93 THANKS YOU!.. so much im goin to get paid in a couple days and im goin to buy the projector and get a rca cable and hook it up to my sony stereo that i hav plugged up to my tv that im goin to replace haha

PS your videos are very helpful XD

  • @Tomhill93 lol your welcome! im happy to hear the vids helped you.

  • @cjrizzle93 Quick question what kind of bulb or lamp (im not sure which is what lol) do i need to get for the projector if it burns out or bust,... you get what i mean lol

  • @TheHessse well, fuck off. again.

  • @TheHessse I believe you were the one that called me gay earlier so... fuck off.

  • @asim14545 lol yes...

  • That had to be the best plug at the end of the video. Classic finger point. He's the next Billy Mayes.
