Estimated friend, if you want to listen again this song and an endless number of successes of the love I suggest you to visit Radio MUSICA PARA MIMOS - looks for his direction URL in Google ( search Musica para Mimos in Google)-. best romantic music of all the times in Internet, is great, is very good ...!!!
The beauty of Heaven & Earth is the creation of the beauty of Gods heart ♥ Home is where the heart is. Our heart will forever be with you Lord God.... To live in our homeland where love never ends to be with our beloved God, to be where creation shines most bright. To lay with the grizzly, to run with the wildcat, to fly with the eagle, to climb the tallest mountain top and talk with God, To fall into the arms of love God is love. God you are my life & home
Most beautiful song of my early childhood when I was four or five years, I have thirty-three now. We enjoy when we are watching this serial on TV, the whole family. I still remember this song
Awesome. What a beautiful song and a great singer too. I used to love the Grizzly Adams show as a teenager. They don't make any great shows like that anymore. Simple and good.
Well, I guess the hippie clothes he's wearing do look a bit funny today. But that was a really nice song, and brings me back to those Grizzly Adams shows which I loved to watch when I was about 7 years old.
The video poster is an idiot but then again, he did post the video and the song is fantastic! Reminds of when I was a little kid. watching Grizzly Adams with my family.
Drive through the rockies and take a good hard look at all of the dams that have been built, forests that have been cleared, rivers that were once home to healthy fish populations that have since been harnessed to feed toxic, self-absorbed places such as Los Angeles and the like. It may be a tree hugging song, but I'd rather hug a tree than a block of concrete in a strip mall. This guy's just stating we're really lost...and we are most certainly...so very lost.
@kungfutongue You seem mostly right in what you say. However, your lame attempt at trying to be creative and poetic in the last couple sentences reduces your post to a silly parody of what you intended.
I see nothing funny about it.........."Grizzly Adams" was a good show with a morality message to it, and this song is a hell of a lot better than that rap shit you prob listen to..............
The poster is obviously one of those idiots that likes to use "rofl", "lol" and all that other garbage. And what's so hilarious about the video? It's typical late 70s stuff.
Both the 1979 and 2008 videos show that Thom is such a beautiful soul and a deep and sensitive man who was ahead of his time. Also, thanks for the memories of Grizzly Adams show so long ago, moves me to tears. God bless.
You're right about Thom being deep and sensitive. The songs from Thom's CD,"Not in Compliance" proves just how sensitive this man really is, as well as Thom's custom CD,"Slices of the past and future".If you haven't already, I urge everyone to go to Thom's E Bay store and purchase ALL of this man's music. ALL of it is truly beautiful. You'll be dealing directly with Thom himself, and your CD will come personally autographed to each buyer.Just go to E Bay and type in Thom Pace. You WON'T be sorry!!!

Oh - there`s a german version, too...but forget it as fast as you can!! They changed the text (obviously they weren`t able to translate the original 1:1 into German. Sad but true! Even I could do that!!:P)
Yes, he's indeed a very nice guy! Having spoken to him a couple times, I can attest to that. I see you're from Germany. Did you get to see him when he was there a few months back?
Let me also add that not only is Thom a very nice guy, but he's also quite the sweetheart. If you ever have a chance to shop at his E Bay store and purchace his CDS, directly from him, and start corresponding with him, you'll witness that. Thom truly wears his heart on his sleeve.
No, his song is "just" one of many beautiful childhood memories. I see the man behind it for the first time..didn`t even know his name. I just looked out for the song on you tube. But I really like him. Surely it`s a pleasure to know him!^^
This is one of my favorite childhood songs and it's one of the very few that actually make me tear up, (and my throat swells). It fits me even until this day!
Is there any chance you can post tonight's performance for those of us in the states and other places who don't get German TV. It would be very much appreciated.
hi folks and fans of THOM PACE ... watch German RTL TV on Friday, APril4th ... THOM will be guest in the "Ulitmative chart-show" that night and will be performing "Maybe" once again.
Great song, great memories. Grizzly Adams was an innocent man accused of a crime he did not commit, forced to live away in the wilderness, yet God compensated him with a great friend (mad jack) a great buddy (Ben) and a cool dude that does not refuse anything you put on his back (#7). Imagine going on a fishing& hunting trip for 50 years, enjoying every minute of it. Maybe I'll do that one day, Thom Pace is a great artist. Thanks for the post.
i really love this great great song, I can't understand how its hilarious at all! The song and the show takes me to a wonderful place I know i'll never see since those days are long gone. So, you shouldn't judge to quickly about a great song like this with a wonderful message.
thanks to this song, Grizzly Adams and Dick Proenneke ( cabin builder and dweller) I have become more in touch with nature. I now hike as much as possible. I saw a bear running this past summer ... she was chasing her cubs. I stood there in awe as it happened. This song was in my mp3 player as I saw it ... it was a very "once in a lifetime" view.
Listen to his lyrics...He was wayyy ahead of his time. He was trying to tell us, then, what leaders and other musicians are scrambling around to tell us today. If there were more songs like this in the 70's ..there would have been more action to save the planet.... but ...we're screwed ...we ran it to the ground ..."litterally". Also Dick Proenneke knew too. If you know who that is!?
Wow, I love this song...i don't know if i like it more because it was on my most favorite tc show (Grizzly Adams) or if it is because it is a good song....either way, thx for posting it. You can now buy all 39epidodes of it on dvd....for those of us that miss quality tv.
Maybe this is a bit cilly song ,,many mothers like it.. nice clean sunday school pop..but ..hell I like! its something very deep and sincere in this song and pace sings it very well!!
This was my fave show in the 70s. I never knew there was a video. I just stumbled upon it, and it's beautiful. I just purchased Thom's CDS from E Bay. Thanks for posting. Brings back nice memories of my watching my fave TV show on Wednesday Nights!
I used to go into my garage and sing this song over and over pretending to be a singer. I'd also go over to a wooded area near home and pretend to be Grizzly Adams.
One of my all time top ten songs ever. I don't think I'll have time to sleep ever again since discovering YouTube tonight. I remember listening to this song as the theme tune to Grizzly Adams in the 70s. YouTube rocks - literally!
Just go to google and type in 'maybe thom pace chords' and it is the first site that comes up. Up have to scroll down through a few other songs, byt it there. I just cut and pasted it into WP. Hope you can find it!
yeah the show was great and the tune is as well. But this is only loosely made on the lif eof the real Grizzly adams, who hunted Grizzlys to sell them to restaurants and zoos.
Yes he did, that was how things were in the 1850s when the real Adams lived. There was also a real Ben, who died in a San Francisco Zoo in the 1850's. Adams died while touring with PT Barnum in the 1860's. He loved animals.
brings back great memories we need more shows like grizzly adams to bad now the networks run only sex voilence and reality tv shows no real family shows left to watch anymore
I great song and a great TV show. Too bad they don't make good shows like this anymore. Now that I am older I kind of have to laugh at the way Grizzly Adams would translate Ben-speak for the views, but hey, it was done for Lassie.
Thom's song is still great after all these years. I often catch myself singing it when I am in the mountains and the breeze is just right and the sun is falling the right way.
Beautiful song. Always remember this tune in the closing credits of Grizzly Adams with Adams standing high on top of that mountain ledge. This is the first time I've ever seen the original singer. Looks not unlike Grzzly Adams himself! ;-)
Great song, but I prefer the version heard on the Grizzly Adams TV series (Thom Pace sounds stronger vocally and the whole song is more raw). Anyone know if that version (in its entirety) is available anywhere?
Why the *rofl* in the title of the video? This is a magical song that takes many of us, of a certain age group, back to our childhood. Very nostalgic. :-)
Hiya Thom, is it really you? lol. Amazing if it is. I hear you have 2 new CDs out, and I will hunt them down in a way that Grizzly Adams would have frowned upon! Have u ever been to Scotland? For some reason your song always makes me think of the hills and forests I grew up nearby to, and not just 'cos Gentle Ben was from Fort William, if I remember right. Anyway, keep up the good work.
We still need music like that Thom.. please keep going with it! People like you, John Denver, and others were ahead of their time in the 70's. BTW, I still recall it when I go to a special place in northern Arizona to camp. It looks very much like the show did. I am glad people today still respect the song and the show and want more like it. If only Hollywierd would listen!
WOW, Just stumbled on your comment, my dear friend. Now, comeon, you can NEVER be old. But if only someone would post your new performance! Hey, I know it will be posted eventually, but having patience is not one of my finer virtues, LOL Anyway, Love ya, my sweet friend. Take care.
Thom Pace sent me a signed postcard stamped Sunset Boulevard, and thanked me for my interest, even though he had to send it all the way to a relatively unknown part of Scotland. He is a true gentleman, and anyone who mocks Thom or Gentle Ben will recieve a greasy HAGGIS right across their CHOPS!!!

Thom's song is still great after all these years. I often catch myself singing it when I am in the mountains and the breeze is just right and the sun is falling the right way.
God bless. Thom.

Wonderful! brings back memories of when Tv was entertaining instead of murders and violence.

Anyone know if that version (in its entirety) is available anywhere?

wow, this song brings me right back to the time when my stepdaddy would beat me on a saturday night after spending his afternoon drinking.
Ireally got an awful beating, fractures, breaks but no buggery thank god!

Grizzly Adams was amazing. This song is such a thought provoking, peaceful melody. Very much in keeping with the series itself. God bless Thom!

Take care.
Love,
Vivian

Thom Pace sent me a signed postcard stamped Sunset Boulevard, and thanked me for my interest, even though he had to send it all the way to a relatively unknown part of Scotland. He is a true gentleman, and anyone who mocks Thom or Gentle Ben will recieve a greasy HAGGIS right across their CHOPS!!!

I wonder what they are thinking about when they release some dumb and dumber tv shows on DVD and yet they won't release Grizzly Adams.

Just goes to show how sick this world has become when a beautiful song with beautiful lyrics like this is considered laughable by some poor soul.
