  • Haha... Not sure that the English subs under the Japanese ones are accurate

  • KAWAII DESU~~

  • 1:36 HE SAID SORA!! XD

  • kiara is so cute in japanese!

  • Kiara's voice. Perfection.

  • -hears We Are One and turns to sister- It's Engrish!!

  • Are you sure that the english translation is the same as english lyrics?

  • This was the first song I learned to sing in Japanese! I love coming back to the song that started it all.ライオンキング (Raion Kingu/Lion King) FTW!

  • simba voice was more beautiful than that in english.

  • original is better meh.

  • lol more like i sing along to the japanese version then the english lyrics though XD

  • I love the japanese language :)

  • I do not think Japanese is a bad version. I had a crush on this version. Kiara has a voice very cute and Simba is fine. Japanese is the next language I would learn but I love this language.

Sorry for my English, I am French.

  • @nirvana42000 your English is fine

  • @NaomiGower America! I dream of living las there. Japanese is a language which I love. I would like to learn more-later.

France ... Like any country there are very nice cities, but cities are also not very nice.

  • @nirvana42000 Vraiment? France ressemble beau.

  • I really really LOVE Japanese version!! sugoi!!!!

  • thats because japan has anime. They have seiyuus which are voice actors. They are so familiar with these things that its almost perfect! :D

  • kiara's voice is gorgeous :]

  • it sounds all the more magical in japanese xD

  • wow, this sucks

  • I just felt the need to point out that the japanese lyrics are different from the english ones XP like "kono sekai wa"means"the world" "omoidoori ni" means "all the memories""Atashi no mirai" means 'my future" "sora ga kimi wo" is some thing like "you're in the sky" "chie to yuuki" means "our courage"This is because their words are so much different(most are longer, and are spoken faster than the way we talk)that if they sung it in their language with the english lyrics, it woundn't fit the tune.

  • @LetsRideRulz ahhh wait 'kono sekai wa" is "this world" sorry XP

  • @LetsRideRulz

Just to satisfy my OCD I would like to point out that 'Omoidoori ni' means something more along the line of 'according to plan', and 'Sora ga kimi wo mimamotteiru' means 'the sky is watching over you'. But yea, English and Japanese are very fundamentally different, and translating songs between the two languages always ends up either butchering it or changing it drastically.

  • Comment removed

  • @shirofan207 :D I was just puting it simply to point out the differences XD

Though, I DID make a mistake with Omoidoori ni XD I was sick that day and my brain clicked with the "omoi" part XD and I only pointed out Sora ga kimi wo beause I was a bit confused with "mimamotteiru" (I only know basic Japanese along with Hiragana and Katakana XP) XD

Also, I apologize for any pelling mistakes, my old keyboard can't keep up with my fast typing and I'm too lazy to buy a new one XP

  • @LetsRideRulz

Haha, I meant no offense. I'm studying Japanese on the side right now, and I can never find people who know any Japanese at all. So when I see someone say anything in Japanese I can't resist the urge to say something.

  • OMG lol when they are talking the Japanese speech fits perfectly the mouth movements

  • J'aime la version japonaise ♥

Mais je préfère la française ^w^

  • Sounds fantastic in Japanese! :D Really good job!

  • Oh wow, It is my favorite after the Ggerman version! :)

  • Oh my Jebus when I heard her voice I DIED of cuteness! <3

  • Sounds really good in japanese!

  • aweseome japanese and english in one :D serieus awesome stuff

  • fail

  • 1:02 african voices singing japanese harmonnizing so random lolz

  • does anyone know where we can watch the whole movie in japanese? someone pls tell me!

  • You should have used the real translations, I don't think that people would sing alon in English anyways, I am not XD 我ら家族 ウィアーワン!

  • Hey can you give me this song thanks!

  • LOOVE it! :D The norwegian is good to, but I LOVE japanese <3

  • i like this song too on japonese thanks for the video :D

  • lol "we are one" is still in english

  • The Japanese meaning is actually a little different from the English one.

  • @felixs7508 really how i wanna know^-^

  • Kiara's voice is so CUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUTE!!!!!! wwwwwwwwwwwww

  • I prefer the english, spanish and french version. Their the best. I love the voice of Kiara here though :)

  • kiaras voice is soo cute on japanese

  • Japanese and Polish version are the best!

  • warera kazoku ... we are one... guys, i think a can understand japanese!!!

  • @Kjoep It doesn't mean "we are one", it means "we are family". Kazoku is family. the translation in this video is literally the english version. So the translation is completely wrong.

  • @Warhiji well i wouldnt say there "completely" wrong but then again which one would u rather have, something they changed up but sounds good, or exactly the same and shitty

  • @eatenxinside Well, ofcourse the one wich sounds better. But what I meant was, that he said "warera kazoku ... we are one", but that that doesn't mean we are one. the translation itself is wrong, but sounds great.

  • @Warhiji eh you got a point there lol, but the japanese perspective of family, i think, has more meaning to it. so i think it fits perfectly with the meaning "we are one"

  • (continued)

SIMBA: Our bond is firm. Eternity will not break it.

Live together, guided by the wisdom and courage we are one.

  • From what I could translate with my limited knowledge of Japanese... SIMBA: You live and die in this strange world. You don't wonder about it a lot. If you are upset sometimes, look to your side - everyone is there. We believe we are family - we are one. KIARA: My only hesitation is Who makes my decisions? Why not make them in my heart? SIMBA: You are watching the sky, working without stopping. Together, share the pain and tears. We believe we are family - we are one.
  • @bijoukaiba . Well. Kinda but no. More better translations are "as long as you live your life, this world is, very strange. To our satisfaction, many things will not be. At times that we become depressed, turn and look around. Everyone is by yourside. We are family. We are one. My future, that someone will decide. In my heart, Do I live uselessly. The skys are watching over you. Following you and not stopping. We share your pain and tears. We are family. we are one.

  • Japanese And Italian Version Is The Best =D

  • japanese songs are better than english

  • it sounds awesome in japanese

  • Hehe, great! :-)

i love japanese, but i cant speak it....im learning. :-P

    ty for uploading.

  • I like how they left "We Are One" in English. :3 And to the person that said we worship it 'cause it's Japanese; Not all of us do. I love almost anything Japanese (language-wise), but only because I absolutely love how it sounds. They give so much emotion, it makes me scared. XD

  • Wow weeaboo overload in the comments!!!! lol, is it really hard to like/appreciate a song because its in another language and not just worship it because its in japanese??!?! good gracious.

  • I might get hated on for this, but....this is a rare case where the English is just...better? I mean, most of the other songs are at least on the same level...but this time...

  • @Mirruchan I'd say they're about the same imo big difference being the Simba singers. This one has gives off more pride the original gives off more hope.

  • i realy like japanese!

and the voice of kiara is KAWAII!

    kiara is always cute ^^

  • I sing this song to my little cousin, even though she's only three and doesn't understand japanese, she still loves listing to me sing it to her.

  • I loooveee japaneseee! <3 it just sounds sooo cool whenever a japanese person talks :DDDDD i wanna learn it one day. This is amazing <3 :D

  • @readthisman If you'd like to learn Japanese, Smart.fm is a great website to use to study. Sign up and look for Japanese Core 2000. It's helped me quite a bit. Although, you might want to learn hiragana and katakana first. ^^; (Can learn those on smart.fm too, just look up hiragana and katakana guides).

    がんばって!

  • @Darrelkun wow cool thanks! I also have rosette stone, but I'll try this too! Thanks bunches! <3

  • It amazes me how much Simba's voice sounds like his English voice...

  • How is it that Japan does a good job at voice overs for our cartoons, but when we dub their cartoons it looks like shit?

  • @gacktfan you sir made my day!

Japan puts effort in dubbing. and the other peoples dont.

  • @MLTNA7X

    What?

  • @gacktfan

    WHAT?

  • @gacktfan It's because we do ours individually(our voice actors), while the japanese save time by doing it all at the same time.

  • @gacktfan

I know this. I got to watch a dubbing with I was in Tokyo. Pretty neat!

  • @gacktfan they prolly got more talent than we do when it comes to dubbing stuff

  • @gacktfan its that Japan has been doing such great acting for centuries and actually try hard at it.

  • @gacktfan eh trust me its not so good if you know what there saying, and you guys arnt so bad at dubbing XD

  • @eatenxinside

I know what they're saying. I speak Japanese XD

  • @gacktfan

Because America abides by the "Good Christian Parental Fundamentalist morals."

  • @gacktfan

Disney has a ton of money to find excellent voice actors, whereas most anime doesn't.

  • @gacktfan Cause america just fails like that

  • @gacktfan I completely agree with yu!!! thats why prefer watching there cartoons and animes english subbed, cos when its dubbed, the english complertely RUINS the characters!!!!

  • @TigerMo0n hehe but the germans are doing a nice job in subbing, so if theres german version ill definetly watch the german version

  • @gacktfan Because a language you don't understand sounds great.

If any of us understood Japanese, then people wouldn't treat Japanese actors like infallible gods for whatever stupid reasons they do.

  • @gacktfan its because out mouth movements allow them to match their voice to out movements. but the mouth movements of the japansese are different because of the sounds of their words. thats why. lol

  • @gacktfan i know they only dub that's good for Japanese anime is Funimation

  • @gacktfan Americans dont give a shit lmfao, I dont really know I always wonderd the same

  • geezz, nice version...

but simba has lost some of the sweetness in his voice here...

    kiara is great though

  • True, but you hear more pride.

  • I think you did a great job. Who cares if the translation is write or wrong. You can interpret it the way you want.

  • Comment removed

  • Read the side!!! Damn, she says she knows!!!

  • did you even read the note?

  • haha nice song! xD

it is pretty cool; i like it :]

  • :) lol

  • Also, does anyone else think that "My Lullaby" sounds so much scarier in Japanese? XD It startled me lol X3

  • Yeah I thought it did too, and have u heared the italian version? That one sounds a bit kreepy.

  • Oh my gosh! lol, I just watched it, it was creepy too XD;;

  • Yeah, but I love listening to it, it is kinda cool!

  • Yes, I think that too ! xD

  • @RandomAnimeLover

yeah, it's definitely creepier sounding. gave me chills... lol

  • @RandomAnimeLover I agree it scared me too

  • @RandomAnimeLover whats that ?

  • lol i think warera kazoku means something along the lines of more like "We are all family." the english to Japanese isn't exact for many reasons (differences in word meanings, pronunciation/syllables, and melody/flow of the voices). Just saying to clairify D: since others are posting things like that. So yeah. Hee~ I hope that can maybe help people understand, because those are some reasons why they probably say "We are one" in english during the reprise :]

  • I feel obligated to say, "we are one" in Japanese is "Futari wa ichi"

  • it's not the translation, it's the english lyrics! gosh, can't you read the description? *calms down*

ok, i think the voices fit very well :)

and if i'm right... i don't know, but susume = daughter?

and thank you for this version :)

  • cool

  • Cute thank you! I wonder why they say we are one in english sometimes?

  • Kiara's voice seems a little odd in Japanese, oh well. It's very pretty though :)

  • is nice! but the translation wrote is so different from what they say

  • i think this is beautiful! :D and a very little sounds like hungarian

  • Yeah. Lol.

  • Kiara sounds adorable

  • omq the voices are cute haha

    i'm from german too

nut in german they are better

  • Kiara sounds adorable in Swedish and in Japanese

  • I'm seriously in love with Kiara's voice. It is absolutly kawaii in both english and japanese.

  • Truth.

  • love kiaras voice in japanese (im german^^)

  • I think Kiara's voice is kind of too young for the role xD I still love it though, it's too cute.

  • Well, you cant be younger than a 7 year old to sing fluently :p

  • Lol yeah, it sounds like a 5 year old is singing or something.

  • tell that to the 6 year old on americas got taletn lol i love this song!

  • Aww~ Kiara's voice is so cute~ Buh i think i like the English ver better, grew up with it and all, ya kno~?

Either way, each one ver of this song is beautiful~ <3

  • love it

  • kiaras voice is so kawaii!

  • for your info! i can speak japenise and excus my spelling im dislexcic!!!!

  • i love it!

  • adorable ^^

  • Hahaha. I love the Lion King. But this is too awesome. XD <3

  • anything in japanese is always better than the english version

  • i feel the same ! they do the character's voices with feelings and make u feel them so real =D

even the other language as French and Arabic are very good and filled with life =D

  • thats SOOO true but i wish simbas voice was a bit more..younger and better in this

  • The dubs of most english cartoons in Japanese are actually worse. This movie just happens to be even MORE epic. Go figure.

  • I want to go to Japan too, especially the Old parts with the Temples etc :D.

    I wish I knew Simba's voice actor.

  • how do you add japenese writing to your computer?

  • The Japanese Version has something more feeling to it in my opinion. Certainly Simba's voice as in the other languages is kind but especially in this language his voice has something royal and mighty about him.

  • i love this song!,im so happy i acculy understood half of that ^^

  • sorry i didnt read the video description before my first comment. please ignore it lol. i thought this was another persons attempt to be smart and translate a song.

  • The english translation is completely wrong. love the song though.

  • Goos, Kiara gots so cute voice

But I still think what Polish version is the best :)

  • love this

  • The only word, I can understand is "Sora", that means "sky". xD

  • Simba singing "We are one" at the end sounds so sexy XD

  • everything always sound better in japanese

because the japanese have a beautiful language that i wish to speak :)

  • "Sounds" as in the voices/singing, or the lyrics? If it's the former, go watch Be Prepared - very horrible. If it's the latter, yuuuurrrr. (^v^)

  • both ^^

  • Kiara is too cute!

  • So Kawaii :3

  • Uhu.

  • Is it just me, or does just about every animation sound better in japanese?

  • you're subtitles are wrong.

  • Comment removed

  • how cute

  • omg i luv this version!!! its sooo kool!! i luv the many versions of this song!!! 5 stars and ~favs~ thx for the upload!!! :]

  • great

  • Japanese just makes everything better ^^ (I guess the language just seems to add to depth of emotion?)

  • @4n0f4t3 owned^^
