  • fuk off ya old pedos

  • Can any touring musicians out there explain to me why bands use two drummers on stage? Seems pointless. I always think it sounds better with just one.

  • @stronghorse22

Kind of like why bands have 2 (or more) guitarists - different "parts": lead and rhythm. Check out the Allman Brothers for a great example. One is providing the beat, the other fills in like a rhythm guiitarist does.

  • @SOMELITTLEGIANT

    I AGREE.........ROCK ON......

  • I had NO IDEA they sounded so FABULOUS live! Omigod!

  • Man I love this song. The guitar, the piano, the chorus, everything.

  • The Doobies are in my top 3 of all time favorite bands. They bring it every time they take the stage and they deliver loud and proud with both barrels. Great band with great music!

What's really starting to raw me out is they have not been inducted into the Rock And Roll Hall Of Fame. If they don't have a spot in there then nobody should. Give me one reason why they shouldn't be there and I will give you fifty why they should be. Thanks for sharing this video with us!!

  • @powerleg5 Hey the idiots have not elected Rush into the Hall either...It is all about the ass kissers in my opinion!

  • Now this is music to remember. True musicians.

  • tom johnston is a living legand

  • Ahhh yes...the music of my childhood. When rockstars were really rockstars. I've heard on a number of occassions that my voice is a throwback to Tom Johnston. A compliment, in my opinion.

  • Yep - it was a different time. Would I want to go back and be 16 y/o again? Hell no!!! BTW - I went through the town of China Grove, TX a few years ago the same one this song is based on.

  • why wouldnt you want to live that dream life again?

  • As fun as it was there was always the peer pressure of sex, alcohol, drugs, educational pressures, work pressure (Later on) religious alienation, etc. Time were a lot different for a lot of different reasons - Being older was actually liberating :-)

  • pressure of sex?!

    drugs?!?!

    oh come on dude

    thats heavennnn

  • If you have the intellectual power of a mosquito maybe. When will you fools understand there is more important things in life than pleasure.

  • everything humans do is for pleasure

why are you going to school to educate yourself?

to get a good job and not end up on the streets, instead living in a big house with a pool

    thats pleasure

Is it a matter of good-taste or a Life-Aware state of mind?

  • Skylark is my hero

  • Love the Doobies with Tom Johnston, more rockin to the band, they seem kind of ageless. And this is pretty much how they looked in Aug when I enjoyed the hell out of them here.

  • Great Solo by Tommy.

  • Skylark is cool on the bass...

  • One of the few good China grove video's I have seen on here and even though this was taken a year & 1/2, this looks like the Doobies I just saw Aug 9th, Pat Simmons with his trademark long hair, Tom's cool vocals, guitars sound great, they sound great in person. Pat is originally from Aberdeen Wa, so it's kind of like coming home. Fantastic video and it was an awesome concert 2 weeks ago. • I had so much fun at this concert! I love watching my Dad Perform. He is so cool! And talented.
