It's Darius' R8 that I'd want.And also,how often do we see Cross in either Carbon or MW?He's always cowering behind his Federal colleages giving out orders and sometimes he never even touches you during any pursuit.

Honestly I never really found Cross any challenge at all,although he's at a higher rank than any cop. But at least he has a cool car.Besides,it's an inspiration,not the real thing =/

They did a good job on Darius' car, I'll give them that, but they put hardly any work in Cross' Z06. It looks like they simply slapped a couple of white stripes on the car and called it his car. They even forgot the police badges and the bodykit, of all things. I was gonna buy this pack, but I think of all of them, the NFSMW cars look the most accurate. Just saying.

@TheRacingProductions Remember that this is Cross' corvette in the events of Carbon, he didn't had a badge on his car, he was just a bounty hunter hired by the Palmount PD. And this Corvette isn't the same as the one he had in Carbon, it looks like the wide body ZR1. Anyway Cross' vinyl had always looked confusing, unlike Darius', so I'd expect it not to look exactly to the original.

I'm gonna buy the Carbon pack instead, I played Carbon before MW and in my opinion Carbon is my favourite NFS.

Well I don't have the PC version, nor can I tell on the PS3 if its at 60 FPS. Yes, the physics are a bit weird, but hey, NFS isn't really supposed to be realistic in terms of the roots back with "Road & Track present The Need For Speed" although they try to make stuff realistic, EA fails sadly. But if I want it to be realistic, I'll just play Gran Turismo. But I get your point, I know what you mean.

@BOOST15673 its definitely not 60fps because if it was u would be able to tell and it would look smooth as butter (think uncharted 2 was 60fps). I know theyre not trying to be realistic because hey its need for speed, but the least they could do is make the engines sound good and make the environment look crisp. Thats what disappoints me, because criterion did Hot Pursuit and that was a GREAT game and i could tell from the demo, but this one is just awful

@envythisRoadRunner Carbon's cop were pretty much the same as Most Wanted. The story was less straight forward than Most Wanted and in my opinion, much more interesting and less cheezy. The reward cards weren't bad at all, they were fine.

Carbon is so very similar to Most Wanted, it was an improved MW to be in fact. More game modes, extended customization, bigger car list, bigger city and a strategy like free roam map, Carbon, in my opinion, is the better NFS game.

The Story was a cheesy "win to get back on top" which was totally fine back in the days of Underground 2.If anything, it was a downgrade from Most Wanted. Carbon also have a terrible performance tuning system, whereas MW had more precise options.Reward cards IMO were a complete waste. Races only gave $250-$750 and scouts instantly became useless...Carbon sucked, now i'm looking forward to The Run :3

About the currency system when you win a race you only get $750, that only happens when you complete the story mode, but it can be a pain when you're low on money and you want to buy your favourite car after completing the story. The Run, however, looks awesome, it looks like it's gonna be a memorable game in the series too! =D

@kode103 Need for Speed is just the series name, it's not one company making these games. For example, the shift series is made by one company and underground and most wanted were made by another one.

They can't just go back unless any game producers want to make a game like that under the NFS name.

@volcom1722 Shift is by Slightly Mad Studios, and Shift is brilliant in my opinion. Criterion did the latest Hot Pursuit and that wasn't too shabby either. However, The Run is being produced by EA Black Box who made ProStreet and Undercover. Black Box releases keep getting worse, my favourite NFS is Hot Pursuit 2, released in like 2002. I agree, you can't say NFS is getting worse with several developers contributing, but you can certainly say a developer is getting worse, and Black Box is.

@PhoeniXephyr I believe part of the reason why other developers have contributed to the NFS franchise is cus EA realized they were milking Black Box hence the feeling of them "getting worse" with Developers like Mad Studios and Criterion in the fray they have taken some of the load and stress from Black Box. So now they can breathe easy and come up with a good ideas...those good ideas now seems to be we see in "The Run" I hope they dont disappoint this time BUT I'll still root for the! :]

@Metalex742 I do remember reading something like that. I think the current system is Black Box and another developer alternate each year giving a 2 year time frame to work in. Shift whenever the hell they want. But it does give Black Box 2 years to develop a game, which is roughly the same timeframe as Forza and Gears of War. So hopefully it won't be a pile of shit, but I'm not getting my hopes up... I'd like time spent on gameplay and cars rather than a storyline and cinematic cut scenes.
