  • it´s quite good^^

  • @Jimsteinman Wow, blast from the past. This was four years ago. I should probably upload some recent videos of my singing, I've been working on my voice considerably since this.

  • Your voice is awesome! =D

  • cool:)

  • Could you do johnana plz

  • That was written for a tenor; I'm a bass-baritone. I'm not saying that my range is limited strictly to songs written for bass-baritones, but it just wouldn't sound that great if I sang a song such as Johanna.

  • I ment Johanna in the 2nd act to quartet

  • really good!

i think a bit to quick

  • I went and saw this musical...you should try out for Sweeney Todd

  • wow your goooooooood!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

  • uh, where did you get those instrumental versions?

  • Rather nice! I enjoyed it!

  • This really is rather good, especially for a non-professional sixteen year old. I like the laugh... hahaha!

  • your the only man person ive heard on youtube that can acually sing sweeney todd songs

  • this is really good! do you think u can make your mic sound better or get a new one? srry...lol

  • dude u sing a helluva lot better than i do. :) nice job.

  • mate, my compliments. This was professional level

  • You are pretty good.

    I liked it!

    =D

  • Oh, dear.

You are definitely the best Non-Professional Sweeney I've heard on here!

    Keep it up!

I had to start it over at the beginning to sing with you. Haha. :]

  • Sorry, I replied with my other account at first. My mistake. But thank you, it's rare that people consider me the best =D

  • Haha. :]

    And you're only 16?

Your voice sounds a lot more developed than 16.

    Post more? ^.^

  • Depends. I don't think Sweeney has many other solo numbers.

  • Oh, yeah..

    That's true.

    Well.. Hm.

I don't know what to do about that there.

    Haha.

  • - you can search duets :p..

  • If you are as good at acting as you are at singing, you'd make an awsome Sweeney! You are awsome!!!

  • ok, the worst thing i'm going to say is that the last note was a little off, but other than that, i thought that it was really well sung, and you have a nice voice. :)

  • Your 16 and you sing really good. I give you an A+.

  • Thank you very much, I appreciate that.

  • You should do more songs from musicals like avenue q and stuff like that.

  • Avenue Q is alot different from Sweeney Todd, but I'll give it a try sometime.

  • ok, cool.

  • wow, u sing really good. when i write my musical i would like u to be in it. how come u found the movie dissapointing?

  • They cut out the song "Ballad of Sweeney Todd" and many others.

And what musical are you writing?

  • How old are you? I can the song too! Like it, coude´nt do it better myself:P

  • I'm 16

  • You lose your volume for the first bit of the song. Also you need to get more in touch with the rage of Sweeney. Try singing it with your teeth gritted tightly inbetween words and try and keep them gritted and it's easier to get in touch with the anger. And leave the laugh out.

  • OMFG that was so good!

  • Thanks, I've been working on this song for a while ^__^

  • Very nice job! Quite creepy (in the best way :D)

  • DAMN! That is excellent!!

  • Very good. Better than me, actually. Though you kinda make some of the notes too short near the beginning. That's my only complaint.

  • not bad. but i dont see how you were disappointed in the movie. it was brilliant in my opinion. but oh well. i posted a video response. me singing the same song. but its the movie version. so i dont know if you'll like it.

  • Well done. Don't mean to put myself down, but I think you did better than me. Glad the MIDI I sent you came in handy. :) Also, I was impressed with "Joy." Too bad my voice gave out and "Joy" didn't come out well for me. :(

  • i found the midi. it sounds better through my computer program it sounds like a live orchestrea is playing it. if you want that copy i can give it to you. i think i'll post my version of this.

  • Whoa... You are awesome! It gave me chills! XD

  • I have to come back now and compliment you on your singing now that I've seen the movie. I rather enjoyed the movie,

what I didn't enjoy was the 300 lb man next to me singing along WITH EVERY SINGLE SONG.

And given the choice between the male and female, he sang the female lines.

I'd much much much rather of had someone with your singing skill sitting beside me....

  • ROFL!!!

Well, it depends on how loud he was whilst singing it, and how annoying it became after the first ten minutes of the movie =P

  • LMAO that is funny as crap! I'm sorry though! lol

  • They smothered the plot with gore, but it was still a bit cool. I wish they had chosen someone else, and maybe an older Toby, but it was still alright, and a lot cheaper than the musical. You have a good voice, espcially for such a hard part. They showed much too much blood, although it was faker looking, which wasn't bad. Still, it was cast in too dark a light. Sweeney was supposed to act happy. "He seldom laughed but he always smiled."

  • Where did you get the karaoke audio for this song?

  • I had someone on YouTube send it to me

  • And who might that be?

  • Actor18

  • Thanks!, and by the way, you sang very well

  • GREAT job! much much better than you're Alive Reprise! However I think you sang it too based on Depp's mediocre performance. I think you'd be better suited singing this after seeing George Hearn's pneumonic performance. And yeah I agree with you the movie was extremely dissapointing.

  • I've seen George Hearn's performance multiple times, more so than Depp's, though I might have strayed into imitating Depp from time to time, I admit x_X

  • From one who can't sing a note...I'm impressed. Well Done!!!

  • I was waiting for something Sweeney from you. Lovely <3 I don't mind Depp singing myself, but he reminds me so much of Jack Sparrow when he's singing, it's rather distracting

  • Hey, you can sing. You did an excellent job!

  • Another musical i've never heard much of. Good job singing, though.

  • Put bluntly, nice. I found great appeal in how your style of singing switched from Len Cariou to Johnny Depp.

  • I also tried a bit of Michael's too

  • Sounded like it.

  • Pitch perfect, and it's mighty hard to hit some of those notes. Great laugh too. I'd love to try doing this myself, but it probably wouldn't be as polished as yours. I'm really impressed! Good one!

  • Ironically, I thought the laugh was the worst thing about it. But thanks for the complements, I appreciate them!

  • I like this version so much that I might post a response...

  • I look forward to it, you'd make a good Sweeney
