I am very upset to find out that Wendy and Paddy didn't end up together. Hope Paddy will perform live one day again although I doubt it. Can Someone in Sunderland give Paddy the freedom of the city or something! PLEASE!!

Playback doesn't matter, Wogan was a great show to see a band perform on each programme. Often songs that were never likely to be big hits or get played elsewhere to any great extent were featured. Unless my mind deceives me, I saw this live at the age of 20, and I know my mind does not deceive me in reminding me that now I am 40, unfortunately! Prefab Sprout are a remarkable band, and I adore their entire catalogue of stupendously well crafted music. This is what intelligent pop sounds like.

Wendy is lovely, Paddy is a TOTAL genius and the world of music is a worse place without PS in it. I know Paddy hasn't been well and still isn't but we NEED one last tour..please..?

Oh, poor Wendy. She acts like she doesn't belong there... Otherwise great song by a great band. What a pity, it's playback, because they've been marvelous live performers. Paddy rocks!!!
