alright, i plan to make a little movie for my film class. The orange tip is the only thing from stopping me to buy a blank pistol, i understand that you can take it out with some work but also if i take it out i wouldent want anyone to get hurt, will there be something in the barrel still besides the orange plug?

The red plug in the end is just so that the gun can be easily identified as a blank gun. The barrel is permanently blocked and the gas escapes out of the top, there is nothing that comes out of the barrel.

But why do people want a pistol firing blank instead of a gas or CO2 pistol? At least you can shoot BB bullets at target.

Hi Ummm i want to get this item for you guys but i want to ask the p22 look like a great gun but i have money to spend on the P99 :P but Idk which to pick i love the p99 too looks great but i think i like the P22 better its small and nice looking too but which gun do you think is better made the p22 or p99...plz write back as soon as possblie thank you :)

Both are officially licensed and made by the same manufacturer. It all really depends on which you like better- small or medium frame, external hammer or internal striker. They both fire the same 9mm blank cartridges and have the same sound.

Yes, there is a red plug in the end of the barrel.

The barrel is blocked- the flame and gas vent through a hole in the top of the barrel.
