Tough to generalize an entire group of people saying they don't know the sport, especially in a pretty big hockey market like Philadelphia.
Crosby is a hell of a talent, I can appreciate that, but some of the things he does make it hard to be a fan (they're often discussed, no need for me to get into specifics). Talent alone is nothing to be proud of, it's what you do with the tools you've got as a player. By that measure Crosby is still no slouch, but I'm not a fan yet.

i see what you mean. overachieving is a good thing if your a fan of that team, but as for myself, a pens fan, to look at this flyers team and see them higher in the standings knowing full well that the pens are better than them ON PAPER, its pretty frustrating. but the key is the flyers are playing better team hockey. it still doesnt make it any easier to swallow. but yea, you do have to make the most of what youve got. the pens have so much, but sometimes it all just doesnt click

this video title is not accurate. at 0:12 the penguin guy got owned, then when armstrong hit carter at 0:59, armstrong fell down as well as Carter. Carter easily got back up, and pushed Armstrong down as if he was nothing. Then from 1:10-1:14 Armstrong is checking to see if he is hurt... I dodn't see Carter doing that.

He jumps into him, there is a great angle that shows it, and its way after the puck is released. Armstrong put 3 guys in the hospital in a couple month span? He was drafted I think 13th overall 5 seasons ago (in the Ovechkin draft) Carter is a monster, he plays great 2 way and has the best wrist shot in the entire NHL.
