@theninjachannel actually the only difference is that noone gets to control who does or does not get gear, the same slow gearing up process will commence with most folks getting commendations instead of actual gear, only the actual epics or whatever will be randomly given to people who've participated. TBH more people do raids when they think they have a shot at gear, and that's all that system does, equal chance at getting gear and no loot whoring/ninja bs.
