Nichols was a farmer so he had access to Ammonium Nitrate, than Mcveigh posed as a speed bike racer to get a large amount of nitromethane racing fuel. basically mix them both together until it turns into a paste and you don't even need to pack ti down or wrap it up tight. Very dangerous. also known as ANFO.
