  • his left and right brain hemisphere merge unlike normal people. i use the term "normal" loosely. i went to school with a kid who could sketch the golden gate bridge with amazing detail but couldn't tie his shoes. this was in the 5th grade.

  • That was very interesting, but it really could have been shortened up into a 2 minute vid.

  • I bet you're scared to put a video up because of all the negative criticism that it would attract. It's really not all that bad. This video, for example, attracted a total of one negative comment and I thank you for bringing my attention back to it... I had no idea that it had received 1292 views!

  • @fehquig No I don't care enough to invest the time to make a video. It's nice to know how presumptuous you are (the negative criticism). I never said that the video was bad ; I said it "was very interesting". No need to be so caustic towards me for pointing out the obvious.

  • No wonder cabbies crash so much lol! Not much time on watching the road!

  • no disrespect but why are you headed for a camera and you are clearly video taping yourself as we Watch?

  • Either I don't know or I don't understand your question...

  • That is very cool.

  • Blew me away!

  • Great story...and amazing too. I have a pretty bad memory...so I would not remember the number of the cab five minutes after taking the ride. :P

Thanks for all the comments on my videos by the way, I really appreciate it. :)

  • I have a theory that people with more creativity have worse memories... I usually leave a comment after I watch a video, Larry. That way you know I was there... You're getting close to eating cat food, eh? Congratulations!

  • You are a memorable guy Andy with distinct facial features, no wonder he remembers you! LOL Really, people like that are amazing, aren't they!?

  • Like I said, I was floored...

  • Interesting taxi vlog today Andy! Savants fascinate me. The last one I was around was an expert on geography and would talk constantly about intricate details of world geography, yet he could barely function in life. I recently watched a tv special about two twin savants who were obsessed with all things Dick Clark. It's crazy but very interesting to study them. Hope the weekend was good for you! -Jim

  • It is an interesting phenomenon... The weekend was good, Jim. Now it's time for me to catch up... To be obsessed with Dick Clark makes me wonder a bit :)

  • My brain retains the most useless facts.

  • Mine too. I just never know when to use them, or if I do find a use for one of them I have forgotten it...

  • It's incredible what some people are capable of, huh?

  • Staggering even...

  • i know the ABV of every beer sold at the beer shop.

  • Now that's very useful information... I guess it's easier to remember something if it interests you and holds your interest.

I suppose it takes a special breed to memorize the phone book and get some pleasure out of it :)

  • Some interesting related videos popped up on this one hehe

That rain has barely stopped for a breather this month eh buddy

  • Got that right, and breather is the key word. I think I'm developing gill slits in my neck...

  • Still, I persevered.. and it was indeed an interesting story.. :>)

  • Thanks for putting in all that effort and STILL being interested.

    Now my day is made...

  • It takes a lot to give up on your videos.. :)

  • Aaargh.. it keeps doing its usual evening stopping and starting.. :(

  • Hmmm... It works fine here, but things were a bit slow between three and five in the morning, meaning that I was watching them faster than they would buffer, but that was in the taxi with a slower internet connection...

  • cell phone and driving... I'll have to flag you, lol !

that was an incredible story that tells us how much we underestimate the "retarded"...take care !!!

  • Go ahead and flag me if you like, but please stay on the sidewalk because things could get messy if you leap out into the street...

I'm convinced that we all have complementary abilities, but finding the ways in which they complement each other is often the challenge :)
