    Eventhough I think J. Kaufmann is one of the " good tenors " we happen to have nowadays but , without any intention to ofend his fans, I think ~ you cannot compare "diamands with zirconia "

  • So wonderful to have this in my playlist as a counter to Jonas Kaufmann singing 3 Wagner arias in a recital. If people would just open their ears and LISTEN, they would see that Corelli would have been 10 times better in Wagner than Kaufmann. And even then Corelli wasn't right for Wagner. Hence, he *did not sing it*

    What is wrong with singers today, that they can't sing appropriate rep?
