  • Go and watch my better video

    1998 Toyota Sienna Crash Test

  • @00crashtest will do

  • Usually the 1990s cars usually don't get a good safety pick. The first generation of Sienna is one of the safest.

  • yeah big 3 make junk and want to price them like gold

  • if u dont think thats safe look op the holden cmmarade ignorant bastards!!!!!!!!!!!

  • There's a nimrod on GMI, called AMERICA123, who constantly states that Toyota cars have always been unsafe and that IIHS has been helping plant a "perception" that Toyotas are safe. Needlessly to say A123 you are a moron. Toyotas are very safe, as the videos and ratings from NHTSA have always proven.

  • way better than the previa

  • @pancakewafflebacon it actually is a redesigned version of the previa

  • @cookie1749 they still make the previa...

  • @pancakewafflebacon In Japan they still do!

  • @AirCanadaA55555A I know

  • 90 mph very safe van all newer toyota hondas are very safe .

  • wow, hadnt expect that of a end- 90s japanese multivan... respect!

  • NOT WHAT I WAS TALKING ABOUT

  • The Trans-shit did worse then this. Atleast the frame did not crumble like a soda can, unlike the Trans-shit

  • agreed

  • 2009 sianna.6 stars!

  • i still dont get wats the diff.. between the 2001 vvti engine and the 98 version...

  • i own a 20001 toyota sienna ce.... 210 hp... more than some 2006 minivans

  • plus, yours has the vvt-i equiped in the engine

  • The engine is underneath the seats on these

  • woah woah, someone got out of bed the wrong side today!

  • well im sick of people like you talking about things they know nothing about

  • well I obviously know what Im talking about, knowing the previa is mid-engined, as is the townace. I thought the Sienna was mid-engined, with the radiator in the front.

  • Actually you dumbfuck that was a toyta sienna.Drrrrr!!!Look closely at the name on the sticker that is on the minivan.

  • NOT WHAT I WAS TALKING ABOUT

  • Actually, Japan has no oil (and not much other natural resourses). It is all in the Middle-East, some in the north of Asian Russia, and in Africa, yet no one knows how much exactly.

  • Of course not. Japan lacks a lot of resources.

Gas in Japan is like $6.00 a gallon and people don't drive much. They do a lot of city driving and stay stuck in traffic

Thats Toyota has pushed so hard for Hybrids because thats what they excel at

  • $6 american? I wish it was that cheap here!

  • To ikea55. The IIHS dosen't rate with stars. You indicate this in the 'about this video' pane.

  • If there were no such thing as Toyota,...

    I'd own a Honda.

And of course my Honda driving friend says the exact opposite. :O)

  • Do you mean to say that the Tundra is American? Why do you think so?

  • Yes, that's safe. And for it's especially good for it's time. Man, Toyota sure knows how to make good cars.

  • @alexkvaskov heck no! there making death traps. this van is lucky to be safe.

  • @TheRunescapernerd You mean their trouble with the acceleration thing? Well look up some of Chrysler's life threatening defects that they have known for years and have done nothing and refuse to recall any vehicles. Look up the channel dodgechryslersucks here on Youtube

  • THATS NOT SAFE!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

  • @withlovejessiee101 hmmm what is

  • @withlovejessiee101 Would you rather no airbag and metal crushed on you or whats in the video?

  • WOW, that is a lot better after watching the Pontiac Montana crash test! Glad my parents drive one1

  • i like my r-class better, and also check out the legroom its asomely big in the front AND back

  • It's all the more shocking to compare that result with the GM minivans (Pontiac Trans Sport) introduced 1 year earlier (or many earlier minivans for that matter). The '98 Sienna is a good overall performer but is especially good for its time.

  • I'm one safe motherfucker in that thing.

  • i love my 98 sienna xle!!!

  • Happy to own one. Sorry big three but you are falling to the Asians because you simply make junk!!

  • @interlace2 example pontiac trans sport

  • @interlace2 Domestic cars do such, but their trucks are great, well except for Jeep

  • @interlace2 well your ignorant! and i hope you never complain about the economy you unpatriotic loser

  • happy to own one!

  • safe enough van
