I think Against Me! probably recorded this pitched up slightly, and that's why people think it's sped up. I know this is the way it is on the EP, though.

I love this version. I once saw Against Me! live and I wasn't all that impressed because they didn't have that "warm" sound you get from the blending of the sounds.

@shitcanhappen Your right, sounds like the 45rpm needs tweaking on whoevers record player it is. Can usually find something on the bottom of the record player where you can fine tune the speeds.

Man, this song is so much better, this song has so much more passion, I do like the electric version, don't get me wrong, it's a nice change, but for those days, you get out of work, you had a terrible day, horrible customers, or extra work loads, songs like this keep us from losing ourselves to that bullshit. @takulovesanime I always did like the EP better. Tom seems like he has more life to his voice, kind of like he wants the world to hear it and doesnt care how he sounds doing it. Just a teenager writing lyrics on a piece of paper wanting to make people listen, not make a #1 hit. That's what Against me! was all about.
