the picture at 2:32 isnt funny or cute. i got 3 hamsters and put them in the same cage. they were fine at first. one night i woke up and 2 of my hamsters were running around in the cage with blood on them and the other one was in the corner. dead. they had gotten in a "fight" and ended up killling each other. i had to seperate the other 2 so it didnt happen again. ADVICE: DONT GET MORE THEN 1 OF THE SAME GENDER OF HAMSTERS. THEY GET JEALOUS AND KIULL EACH OTHER.

I would recommend Syrians for first time hamster owners, but Syrians are great escape artists! With dwarf hamsters, it depend what kind of cage or aquarium your get. If you are planning to get a dwarf hamster, either get a cage designed for mice or a big aquarium. If you want a Syrian, get a normal Hamster or Gerbil cage.

Well, it really depends what you want to do with it. Roborovski's are great for watching and are a real challenge to tame, whilst with Syrians you can stroke them to death on your couch. I would recommend Syrians for the first time hamster owner. There are lots of dwarf hamsters, Chinese are long and thin and are related more to mice, Russians / Winter Whites are abit more like miniture Syrians (but they do nip), Roborovski's are tiny, fast and the cutest in the world.
