  • this has great flow

  • dis song is tooo sick !

  • Praise God for Steven the Levite. Very sick flow. P.S.- He looks a little like Common.

  • nice.

  • how do you say stephen? like steven? lol sorry for asking that. its a sick track

  • Hey!! No question is a dumb one. Yes. It is pronounce like STEVEN. However, some might pronouce it like STEFF-EN.

    Peace

  • It's disgusting that they use the term dad. According to scripture Jesus called him Father, show respect to God. Besides dad infers bioligical connections. If Jesus called him Father because it was his respective title, than everyone else should too.

  • Read your bible He said ABBA ABBA and NOONE before Him ever referred to God in this way, He thru His bloodshed has allowed us to draw so close to God that we can call Him Father Abba or Dad Spiritually!!

  • Show me a few scriptures that say that. I don't think I've seen that in there before. I don't think you're right about that.

  • Right about what? Jesus calling God ABBA?

Mark 14: 36And he said, Abba, Father, all things are possible unto thee; take away this cup from me: nevertheless not what I will, but what thou wilt.

Rom 8: 15For ye have not received the spirit of bondage again to fear; but ye have received the Spirit of adoption, whereby we cry, Abba, Father.

Gal 4: 6And because ye are sons, God hath sent forth the Spirit of his Son into your hearts, crying, Abba, Father.

  • Right about what? Jesus calling God ABBA?

no. about God being called Daddy, or, dad Ever, in any scripture, contained in the bible.

Abba, doesn't that mean Father? Father is a term used in respect. I don't find it respectful to call him Daddy, according to scripture Jesus didn't even do that.

  • ok well IDK if you looked at the website i have below your comment but it states that ABBA is translated as Daddy...

  • I didn't check out the website, I didn't notice it. I might have a look, but I have been on other sites, because I did want to research for the convo...other sites said otherwise...so a new question is...What's the truth?

  • Lol the truth is that it is a language and that Abba can be translated as Daddy check out the site shouldnt get all upset at them cuz they call our God daddy, He is our Spiritual Daddy is HE not? But no need to argue this anymore its pointless if you want to be offended and not listen to them any more so be it, I personally love their music and it doesnt offend me in the lest in fact I bought the album I like it so much.. To each their own May God bless you in abundance 8)

  • @Pressence101 I know it's been a year since this was posted, but 'Daddy' wasn't a term used in biblical times. when a kid calls their earthly father "daddy", are they disrespecting him? of course not. the child is looking up to the man who loves them, protects them, provides for them. it's complete reverence, looking to the one they put their trust in for their needs. ABBA Father is "Daddy" Father...it symbolizes a close relationship.

  • @Pressence101 reference Matthew 7:23 about separating the true and false disciples. it says, 'Then I will tell them plainly, ‘I never knew you. Away from me, you evildoers!’

"I never knew (epignosco) you" epignosco means to have knowledge of through intimate relationship. if you don't have an intimate relationship with God then He's not your Lord, Savior, Father or, more affectionately, your ABBA (Daddy). ABBA is a term of endearment and reverence, like a child saying 'daddy' to their father.

  • @ this site (dot)crosswalk(dot)com/1292451/

It states :Abba is the translated word Daddy in Aramaic, the common language of Jesus day.

You shouldnt get offended if they say daddy in their songs, Jesus called him daddy too. His is our Father/Daddy and all praises to Him thru Christ Our Lord!!!

Have a wonderful and blessed New Year 8)
