Thanks So Much! Sox is my 10 year old Quarter horse appendix although I call him the Stud cause he likes it way better-Haha Right now we're rocking in the CHJA do you show in that circuit?
@101horseholic Yeah, i do! I got 4th overall last season and this one Doc and I cam back from an injury, so we only did 2 shows haha, but they were fun!! Hahaha, of course he likes being called stud!! lol how did your show season go overall??
I think we will end first in state for puddles, but Sox just came back from a broken knee last winter of 09 and we started showing later in June and we were still able to pull it off. What happen to Doc? P.S Congrats on 4th overall that rocks!!
@101horseholic Hahahaha thanks, but FIRST IN STATE?!?!?! awesome!!! And how did he break his knee =0 thats aweful!! And Doc, He freaked out with the farrier and stepped on that stand and tore half of his hoof off...it was ugly!! 6 months of stall rest and 8 months of recovery...worst year of my life!! And probably his too =(( poor guy, he really took it like a champ though =))
@JustBeingStephers Hey Thank!! Poor DOC is right! I know exactly what you mean. Horses are so fragile no joke, but Sox might have been kicked when he was out in pasture at bellow freezing weather in December but he had 5 months of stall rest and 2 months of recovery and luckily he was quite the patient! That was worst year every and now if he is put in his stall for 2 days straight and no pasture he will flip but I'm sure he's still mentally recovering cause I know I am!!! I'm so happy Doc is :)
