Celia only sang in Spanish with the exception of few songs (Mambo Kings). People who only speak English rarely venture out of their prefered genres to listen to music in another language. Vinyl & CD's don't sell very well in Latin America. That's what worked against Celia. Still, I would choose Celia over Santana any day. Nada que ver.
