I must say that before SH 2009 Jeremy Brett was my favorite Holmes....but RDJ has totally blown me away. The RDJ/Jude Law combo is absolutely amazing. BTW, I was not aware of slash when watching the Granada series, but I could totally ship the Brett/Hardwick incarnations as well. Thanks for this video!

I have been a fan of Sherlock/Watson for well ever. They are undoubtably my OTP. And I felt the new Sherlock holmes movie really did ruin Sherlock Holmes for me. I couldn't bear to watch it so... I don't know this was hard to watch. Please tell me you'll give Jeremy Brett and Edward Hardwick a chance. They are the only Sherlock and Watson I'll ever watch. Ever. Still... good vid just... please watch the series by Granada lol. Jeremy Brett was and ever shall be the only Sherlock.

@Vetesse1 Are you kidding me? I'm a HUGE fan of the Jeremy Brett Holmes! I've been watching it a lot lately and I find that he is the best portrayed Holmes I've seen. I do agree, after I've watched the Granada version, I do find it hard to watch the new movie. RDJ made a good Holmes but he just doesn't have the right look to actually be him. I just see the new Sherlock Holmes movie as a young, sleek, and sexier version of it and aimed towards audiences who like that sort of stuff.
