@jddrew1000 I know what you mean! I LOOOOOVE, I mean like really LOVE Kim, but for this song. I just love hearing Kervy sing this song! This song is a classic!
My girl Moniqu Walker is holding down that Alto section. Looking for Aaron Hall and Coco from SWV they also sang with Hez. Please post Aaron singing Hold On if you have it.
this is the first song that I had ever heard from Hez and LFCC. I love this hymn and love what Hez did with it. I ran out and purchased this cassette and still have it some 20+ years later. I need this on cd. LOL.
Can you tell me if this was on the same album as "I'll make it" ? If not, what was the name of this album ? By the way, thanks for posting this, I've been looking for a long time...
Does anyone know if this video has a sound recording I can purchase. All of the versions I find have horns and arn't this exact recording... this video is so powerful and I want to jam the sound recording of this event...
this song brings back so many memories, it was like my whole childhood days flashed right in front of me. I can just sit here and close my eyes, and think about all the good times I had singing this at my church in New Orleans!
Sweetrain records went out business in Philly, they hold the licences to alot of good old music, Rapture, Dobbins Mass Choir, Philadelphia Mass choir, thats why the remixes had to be done with new people, are some of the arrangements are diffrent. I wish I could find all the old school stuff. Philly born and raised
Shout out to Philly! Philly born and philly raised as well. Holla Back! I was actually at this taping. Our choir use to do this show as well. Fellowship Tabernacle choir! Shout out to my old choir Dobbins! I was there first president and lead singer! :~)
Why don't b3 organs sound like that anymore!! lol lol I love that sound!! Takes me back to when my childhood pastor, the late Bishop Harris use to play during service.
because no one wants to pay for them to get taken care of...PLUS people are starting to get Hammond X-B3 and B-3000s and crap like that...get an original and it will sound like that if you keep it serviced

i find myself watching this everyday. the organist is killing. must be melvin crispell or butch himself. This is why they say butch doesnt play with a bass player he doesnt need one!
the organists' bass runs are addictive. the music is so 80's 90's brooklyn. Back when the organist and the drummer would get open on the ushers' 'grand march' at anniversaries lol
