  • Classic!

  • A classic- Luv it

  • Why don't b3 organs sound like that anymore!! lol lol I love that sound!! Takes me back to when my childhood pastor, the late Bishop Harris use to play during service.

    Judah

  • because no one wants to pay for them to get taken care of...PLUS people are starting to get Hammond X-B3 and B-3000s and crap like that...get an original and it will sound like that if you keep it serviced

  • Artist:

    Lead Vocals: Kirvy Brown

Song: The Lord Will Make A Way Somehow

    Album: I'll Make It

    Record Label: Sweet Rain

  • Where's Stazee Burnett? ... The INCOMPARABLE vocalist from Brooklyn that sang Hezikiah Walker's "The Lord Will Make A Way Somehow" (ORIGINALLY) along side Kervy. If you can PLEASE post more of my friend I would greatly appreciate it THANX! ... And Stazee hurry up and come out wit your project and show them how it's really done ... REAL TALK

    BBlessed

  • I wish I had a version with Stazee from back in the day! She is truly AWESOME!!!

  • Is she the one who use to wear braids in her hair? i saw them sing this in Washington DC in 1987 at the Edwin Hawkins music and arts seminar and a lady with long braids lead it and tore it up!!!

  • look at the black bottoms and white tops. lol. This is ole school foreal.... black bottoms white tops used to be the National Choir Uniform.

  • It still is!

  • YOU ain't eve lie!!! That uniform sho nuff is ole school rite there

  • who originally did this song and what year did this come out?

  • who is the chior in the red?

  • brockington ensemble!!!

  • SING KIRVEY!!!!

  • I remember this show! This was my intro to Hez, and the choir in the yellow, Wilmington Chester Mass!! Thanks for the post!!

  • man, look at kervy. this song is a true blessing to my soul. it speaks the true words of my soul....my very cry...."what have i done?"

  • Man this clip takes me back to when i was a kid growing up in the holiness church...Thinks for posting this clip..best Hez love fellowship album.

  • but there is no one that can sing it Stazee Burnett.

  • This is another tight throwback...Kim Burrell ain't playing with it either!

  • is that monique in alto bouncing around lol

  • Yes that's Monique.

  • lol

  • This is the first song that I ever heard by Hez, and I have been a fan every since.

  • Too late Kervy and Kim did it at Full Gospel Temple in Dallas and they tore the house up!

I will have to tell him about this, he now lives in Dallas and goes to Full Gospel Holy Temple.

  • Oh so NO WONDER I see him on Lobias Murrey's television broadcast

  • Yep on the Word Network 11pm Monday or Daystar Network 2pm Sundays in you live in the Dallas metroplex.

  • I think since Kim Burrell redid it with Hez her and Kervy should do it live as a duet. That would be sick!!!!!!!!!!!!

  • lord have mercy this is classic yall remember this hezekiah may god continue to bless you thank you for posting this

  • Heyyyyyyyy Kervy!!!! I just knew he was singing lead.

  • I remember hearing this song endlessly at Beulah in Brooklyn. Hezekiah used to shout that place up on Sundays back in the early 90's. Has it been that long ago? Whew!

  • OLDSCHOOL!! Love it!

  • i find myself watching this everyday. the organist is killing. must be melvin crispell or butch himself. This is why they say butch doesnt play with a bass player he doesnt need one!

  • the organists' bass runs are addictive. the music is so 80's 90's brooklyn. Back when the organist and the drummer would get open on the ushers' 'grand march' at anniversaries lol

  • how can i get this

  • download it!!..lol!!

  • im talking about the whole tape all of it all the artist

  • ROFL..........SING ELDER BROWN. So vintage....

  • this is my fav. church song!!...

    besides i wont complain!!...

  • when dis this song come out?

  • The song was on their 1987 recording, "I'll Make It" on Sweet Rain.

  • I had the Hezekiah Walker "I'll Make It" album. That album is classic. It was a great album because Hezekiah Walker used hymns in his songs. They had a great band and they kept the hymns and the songs had a message. You can feel that Kervy means what he is singing.

  • Sing Kirvy!!!!

  • Is this the guy that sang at Prohpet Nathan L. Simmons funeral in Atlanta?

  • Yes!

  • i thought so!!!! he blowing on here!!!! just like he did here in Atlanta.

  • oMG I hate it i am sooooooo sorry but i absolutely hate it maybe cause i am sooo used to hearin kim

  • I'm sorry you feel that way. I wish that you could hear the original recording with Stazee Burnett and Kirvy Brown on this song. We used to tear this song down back in the day. Kim singing the remake was a new take on it but the original was the greatest. Those first few recordings go down in history and are still the best of Hez's recordings to date. The other albums were great but the old crew had a totally different sound.

  • AMEN TO THAT!!!

  • You are right. The original version is the best. The Hezekiah Walker "I'll Make It" album is a great album.

    Stanley Brown - Organ

    Jeff Davis - Drums

  • who is playin' doc they are killin'

  • This is TRUE vintage! I miss this old church'N! No they don't make this like they use to... Whomever is on that organ is goin!

    Kirvy look lyke Kanye!

  • this is the Black Gospel Explosion like in the late 80's/earlii 90's...i kno it wsz sumtime b4 i wsz born. cuz i have this tape.lol.

  • This was recorded in Philly by one of the local public broadcast stations in 1985. It was called the Gospel Extravaganza. I don't think it's on DVD. :(

  • AMEN Somebody!!!!

  • I remember the old days when our movement was restricted. Couldnt put tooo much hip in it, the old saints would sit you down... lol. OMG look at them doing the double claps... *passes out*

  • yessss thank u so much GOD BLESS YOU HEZ AND LFCC IS MY FAV GOSPEL CHOIR!!

  • umm, wat album is this from?

  • This is from their first project called "I'll make It". It's out of print at this point.

  • I always loved this song. I wish this kind of music was still being made. The kind that actually help you get through some things.
