He then made a comment about how you get what you pay for. I'm guessing that this is referring to that, and how his show is cheaper than Lenny Henry's, and so if you don't like his jokes, too bad, cause his show is cheaper.

@fortydayweekend offensive jokes can work great as long as they are not done in bad spirit, and the people listening don't "get offended on other peoples behalf", wich is one of the things i'm most frustrated with nowadays. That and racism (skin color/religion/nationality) paranoia. If it's not offensive to YOU, and it's not harrassing, don't make a scene. Saying something offensive and harrassing are completely different things, and should be treated as such.

If i say something that is offensive to black people, but is not a false statement, and is said in a way intended to be humorus and not hostile or degrading, you could either say you think it's not funny and not laugh, or laugh at the humor.

If there is a fallacy in the statement, you can point it out and correct me.

If you insult my mother with a statement that's true, i can be upset at the insult because it's a personal attack and benefits nobody.

Also mark the point i made in my post 2 months ago. There is a difference between a statement being offensive, and it being harrassing. Insulting one person can be considered harrassing.

You also need to mark the point about the way the statement is made, and if it's meant to be humorus, and not an attack on someone (or a group).
