The E60 M5 hit 328km/h (204mph) top speed with the limiter removed! I am very disappointed the F10 cannot pass the E60 in the top speed segment as its top speed is 315km/h (196mph). The 5.0L V10 is one of the greatest engines ever hands down!

The reason why M5 is the best sports saloon out there, and the reason why its stupid to even compare the CTS-V with it is because it does EVERYTHING better than any other saloon. Its drives better than all of them, its more comfortable than all of them, better built, better balanced, more precise, more refined, more spacious, more fun...it does everything perfectly. CTS is fast, nobody can deny, but for a car to be great, it cant be good at only one thing, and below average at everything else.

CTS-V is a very one-dimensional car.

In the car the dash said it was going 308 kmh so thats about 191 mph. Max speed on the dash says 330 kmh so thats 205 mph. But who really wants to go that fast and risk totaling a 130,000 dollar car.
