Bosses change color and flash colors to let you know that you're actually doing damage. Otherwise, you could be doing things wrong, waste ammo, and make the fight longer than need be.

Yeah, I know that, I've played other 2D Metroid games and beaten this game many times before doing this LP.

How do you record your voice and the game sound at the same time using snes9x? I'm trying to make a "Let's Play Super Mario World" Series, and I'm confused...

Snes9x records the game sound, I record my voice using a separate program such as Audacity (or using Sony Vegas' recording feature. I then synchronize my voice with the video, and presto. However, on my later segments, I use ZSNES, but I record both my voice and the speakers at the same time with a microphone.

One last question, what program do you use to record the footage?

I used Snes9x's built in recorder for the clips I recorded with Snes9x, but when I used ZSNES I used Camtasia.

i guess the bosses like spore spawn get darker because they wither as they are closer to death. Its cool how the whole room dies when it dies; it reminds me of dying plants lol.

It also reminds me of that plant boss in Metroid Fusion, when you get the Plasma Beam. And the bosses always change color depending on how much damage they take, although this doesn't apply to Mother Brain before you get the Hyper Beam... I think.

That's a cool idea, but it wouldn't seem to work well as I see it. If only Metroid Prime 3 had multiplayer... =(

I believe the flying green things that you keep calling Zeelas are called Rios, and the little flappy annoying things are called Melias. I'm not entirely sure.
