Oh my! I didn't know some people would declaw their kittens..that is awful! it's just like those people who cut their dog's tail for aesthetic purposes...really terrible.

No worries my friend. I am very much against declawing. I would never do that. Notice the scratches on the paint. I really need to repaint those tiles and the fireplace. I think the tiles must have originally been a rusty colour. I try to keep the cats claws trimmed but they have really scratched up that area. I think whoever painted didn't use the right kind for tile. It is kind of looking run down. There I go rambling - silly me - I think declawing is a cruel thing to do.

Whew! You know, I had already decided that if you did declaw I was gonna appreciate you anyway cuz it is clear how much you love your kippens. But, I admit to being relieved that you do not declaw. Declawing cats robs them of the ability to stretch and exercise properly. Tends to make cats mean, too. The become anxious and tense. We always used Vet approved snippers to snip the lil' tips off our kippens tootsy nails. They got so they enjoyed it. We never cut too close either.
