@AndyFlakson The Black Star is a variant of Azura's Star in Oblivion. It works as a black soul gem but it never breaks. You get it by doing Azura quest in this game. Make sure you side with the wizard dude in the quest or else you will get a crappier version of the star. You can only get one by the way.
