  • Why not just stick with rentals then? Did the bottom fall out of the Vegas rental market too??

  • @papatoony because he's not making enough money while people waste his time.

  • @PrimitiveMommy Well he said they were wasting his time by backing out of closings (sales), but I'd think the rental market would still be relatively strong with everyone losing their homes and being forced to rent.

  • Check out Alex Jones Terror Storm on Youtube and also Steve Quayle Angel Wars 1_3 Coast To Coast

  • NONE of the Banks OWN the Homes. They were paid ONLY a nominee for the use of their name. ALL Loans were securitzed , sold forward on the market, then bundled into SPV special purpose vehicles sold off into pools insurance products were taken out on each home :) DERIVATIVES up to 30 insurance policies per home that will be paid out in the event of a default :) I will send you some info. Basically on a $300,000 home the default policy pays $9,000,000 on the yield spread premiums 1st & 2nd ysp

I can say from experience that it's not easy and at the same time you find out just what you are made of. I have this channel on email alert so I'll be waiting for your next update. Doing something like this cannot be easy on you or your family..You have my respect, which may not mean very much, because I'm sure you'd rather have money! lol, but it's all I got at the moment! All the best!

  • That sounds awesome. keep us updated

  • Good luck :)

  • Im studying the crap out of real estate right now. The time to get involved in real estate will be in 2 years.... So much opportunities are currently here.... Apartment complexes will be key to these opportunities.

  • I have a CDL which expires in September. So I will be interested to see if its worth coming up to that region and finding work.I got my CDL a few years ago but my business was doing well and I never ended up using it.Now I have it but no one will employee me with out more training extra money out the door kind of stuff. So I will be interested to see how you progress. You have a can do attitude so I know you will do well. Good luck on your journey.

  • I left the Rust Belt in '77 and moved to NYC to be a live in servant. That was a huge step up for me. I already had two years of college, honors student, and had worked in both blue and white collar jobs. There was just nothing happening there in Ohio. I knew some people who had high paying jobs at grocery stores, union, but all those stores are gone now. I wonder where they are now? Ultimately, the USA no longer worked for me so I expatriated.

  • best wishes to you man.

  • good luck on your new venture. i'm sorry about your real estate work.

  • @damania Thanks for the good luck wishes. I love doing real estate and will be back eventually. We'll see what happens in ND. Talk to you soon. Let me know if you have any questions.

  • @lasvegascollapse can keep those daily homes updates going for me? I like to see what's coming down the pipeline.

  • @damania Absolutely, if the search expires and you notice you aren't gettin them anymore, just email me and I'll renew the search.

  • I'll likely be up there in early February. I'll be sure to give you a heads up when I'm going to be there.

  • @damania I am still actively licensed and a member of the Las Vegas Association of Realtors. The business of real estate in Las Vegas is only getting worse and I can't wait around for it anymore.

  • Good luck with the oil. Milk it for all its got. The type of oil fields, shale, don't produce for that long. The towns there are boom than bust. Mostly boom for now since the drilling and production is really just getting going. Just be prepared to move from town to town in the next several years. If you want to put your roots down somewhere that is going to be harder especially as an oil worker.

  • @jimbobubbadj Yeah I don't plan on being up there too long. I left a wife and three kids back home. If I can make some quick money before the economy gets even worse than thats what I plan on doing. I'm of the opinion that we are going to have a currency crisis before too long. Like you said, Milk it for what I can. Thanks for watching.

  • @lasvegascollapse A lot of people simply don't want to face up to the fact that they are going to have to leave their families behind for a bit. I used to see Asiatics in NYC mailing boxes of rice to their families at the Post Office. It was very sad but they were doing the right thing. Staying in touch, sending help, hoping they could be reuinited again. I work as an expatriation consultant, self employed, and am annoyed with Americans who think they can take the pets and all go together.

  • I've been wanting to head up there just to have a look around. Boom towns always have drawn my interest. You aren't going to see any real recovery in LV for at least a decade. LV may never reach it's former glory days. Good luck to you in North Dakota, and let us know what you find there.

  • @EconCat88 I plan on documenting the whole experience. Maybe I'll see you up there someday.

  • @EconCat88 Funny...I remember making the drive to Vegas like this back in 2002. No job, no family or friends there, no idea where I'd live. But it was VEGAS that was the boom town so I had hope that everything would work out! And it certainly did. The city was very good to me...while it lasted. Of course Vegas today in no way resembles the Vegas I rolled into just a decade ago. Ka-BOOM! It's like a bomb went off.
