no, it normally cuts off part of the bottom of the image, and sides of the image, but not too much off of the sides (depends on your display settings and internet font sizes)

Why does it keep saying the image is too large?

it means the file size, you have to choose an image that is less than 250kb. so if that means saving it as a jpeg, thats what you have to do. if you still need help with this, feel free to msg me :)
