    As a European that frequently visits America he is entitled to make this comparison and to note the lack of "spirit" among American flute players.

    Listen if you will to Ian Anderson play "Griminelli's Lament". Even though Ian's flute artistry is not on the level of Galway's by quite a distance, one can hear great emotional content (spirit) in this duet with Kathrin Troester. Daniel - South Florida
