Vanessa is my favorite character on GL- I remember when the Chamberlains appeared. It has been a horrible week- I can not believe that Guiding Light will be gone after tomorrow. I feel I have lost a "friend" & don't have a clue what I will do. Thanks Guiding Light- I have enjoyed you for more than 30 years through the ups and downs. What a great run!
I cry along with her every time, especially when she reads "Darling One." It was a phrase he used often and you could just hear Bill Roerick saying it.
God, wasn't this show incredible once upon a time? It truly was one of the most well-written, well-acted, well-produced programs on television. It breaks my heart to watch it now, it's so devoid of anything resembling genuine emotion.
Maeve Kinkead was outstanding in this scene; it's raw and real because she genuinely loved Bill as much as Vanessa loved Henry. The letter was written in a very genuine, sincere way that sounded like Henry.
Maeve is the BEST! She was always my favorite actress on this show. I wish she would do more acting now!
