If you look at the cable closely, you see that it just lays on the ground, and comes up only just in front of the car... If they would pull the car on the cable it would have to be under tension and above the ground, or even in the air cause of the shape of the ramp...

The steel cable is there to keep the guy and the car from flying off and dying. This video is legit..those tires are the biggest factor in it getting up, but quattro certainly doesn't hurt.

my audi has 200,000 miles on it, and it doesn't burn any oil, doesn't even leak a drop between changes. Get your facts straight before ripping on Audi. The cable is obviously there to keep it from falling off.

no i think it went up and th rope was helping it and when it reached the top they locked the rope so it wouldent slide down cuz thats really steep it cant stay there for sure

There is a safety cable, but it is there ONLY if there was an emergency and also to lower the car back down. If it was there to pull the car up, the car would have made it on the first attempt and they would not have had to switch over to studded snow tires!

If you look real close you'll see a rope or cable hooked up to that car. I don't know if it's puling it of for safety reasons but there's definately a rope
