I don't really understand why some people despise Jason Todd so much, he was originally a cookie-cutter Grayson copycat pre-crisis ! He actually had a lot more depth as Robin II than people give him credit for. The 1st speedy, Roy Harper, and Todd's teammate, had a heroin addiction, and got accolades for being "ground-breaking", "Edgy", and "Highly Relatable", yet when they tried to do someting similar with Jason, he was killed off !!! Why ?

Lol, still though, I'm glad they changed Jason's origin. Pre-crisis Jason is hilarious though because he seriously is a Dick clone ('the Flying Todds xD) except he's a ginger. Plus, I love his more common backstory.
@starlight20angel they shout have given him more time to develop into his own person and anyways when he fought batman in the hush stroyline,he kicked hid ass until he switched with clayface and kicked tim drakes in all their fights and he went throught the same training as bruce only with more deadly force and this is stated in the comics and his offical biography and i hope me writing this convinces people to change their mind on jason becouse he is pretty badass now!!!
I was kind of indifferent to Jason for a while but I really love him now. He's badass as Red Hood, for sure and I'm so glad that he's getting another chance come September...but I also love him as Robin. He was rough around the edges but really proved himself, and the fact that he still tried to save his mom despite being bloodied and half-dead and she had just betrayed him to the Joker...no one can tell me he didn't die a hero.
@starlight20angel and it not really his fault becouse talia al ghul put him in the lazarus pits to restore his memory and his strength and the downside was that her father was in the pit at that time making him insane and yet he still trys to save people but he uses deadly force against crimilals so he is not totally bad thats why he is the an anti hero and not a villain. he is like the punisher !

That being said Jason came out far more cooler then was originally imagined so the universe puts itself in order, everything worked itself out in the end and comic book fans are still irrational :)
@bfs7999766 Donna and Jason (and Kyle Rayner) became the Challengers of Beyond during all of the the Countdown to Final Crisis comics. I actually don't recommend reading it in full (because well...it wasn't that good xD) but if you're interested in Jason/Donna, read their parts. And Countdown Presents: The Search For Ray Palmer.
But they also teamed up in New Teen Titans V2 a few times back when Jason was Robin, the most important interactions between them happening in #20 and #21.

@alexiaashford I don't think that's actually true. Alfred loved him, of course. Bruce couldn't control himself without him, and Dick went ballistic when Danny Chase told him about it. Dick and Kory visited Jason's grave and all the Titans were upset about it. And Eddie (Kid Devil) was also sad about it since the two were pen pals.
I feel bad for Jason for many reasons but having no one love him is not one of them.

What are you referring to? There's so many reasons to feel sorry for Jason. It's actually pretty sad- I've really warmed up to the character the past few months and I'm always feeling bad for the guy.
